I understand your point, I suppose I’m more thinking along the lines of individuals trying to build like 4+ towns. I still am going to stick with my -1 but I totally see both sides of the story and it would be interesting how it would be implemented. If it were to be I liked the idea of firstnolan making it apart of possibly an already added feature.

I assume if this does it approved, it'll likely be a magic item such as a magic stick. Let's be honest, we all want a magic stick for the memes. I love the idea, as other than the magic shovel, there isn't much to help those who like to build/create. It wouldn't effect the economy as it uses blocks you already have in your inventory, it just speeds up the process (just like how the magic shovel speeds up land clearing). For those of us that are building farms, this would be a huge QoL improvement. As for the arguments saying that it would be "overpowered" and "essentially world edit", we already have tools incredibly more overpowered(L3 hoe and L3 cbow just to name a few), and this is far from world edit, as it is not creating blocks out of thin air, you still have to collect/buy the blocks you want to place. You're placing ~5 per click, rather than entering a command to get thousands of blocks placed at once.

 

Like chef said if this were to come out as a magic stick, it would be pretty memey and I love the idea of a tool that doesn't affect the economy. This would be advatangeous for people wanting to build farms or build a town ontop of water.
