I thought I would post a thread about this to hopefully answer the question I would no doubt get asked a huge number of times, and to prevent any sort of weird rumours spreading around which, lets be honest, wouldn't be unheard of ECC ;)
Unfortunately, the time has come for me to step down from my staff position. A lot of the staff (and some others) have known that this was coming for a while and it has been my plan for over half a year now.
Why? Unfortunately real life is more time consuming that I would like it to be :( As many of you know, I moved to London in January to start my legal career. Up until very recently I have had time for ECC due to having exams rather than working full days, however now that the exams are over I will be starting full time with what will definitely be horrendous hours :p On top of that my significant other is moving in with me, and so between work and spending time with her I simply won't have enough time to continue as ServerAdmin.
Thank you everyone for an amazing year and a half on staff, it really has been an experience that I won't forget. I have absolutely loved the past year being ServerAdmin and really am gutted that it is time for it to end.
I'm not going to start listing thank yous, there would simply be too many. I do want to say thank you to andrew & phys however, for giving me the opportunity to be SA and spend such a long time on the staff team.
I don't want to be leaving the staff team, but I'm sure that the rest of the team will continue to be excellent ambassadors for the server in my absence and wish them well for the future :) I will still be around the server however, so don't think that you can get rid of me that easily!

I will miss you the most out of anyone leaving our community. You are one of the most valuable members we have here and it is sad that you will be leaving us. I will keep in touch with you whenever possible and have talks. You are the best dewsy <3 Good luck with everything in the future.

I've not known you for long as an SA, but I got to know you a bit once I became a staff member, you're a great guy that loves to have fun. Sad to see you go. I remember you as a builder, you came far.When I left the server last year, you were a mayor, I came back and you were the ServerAdmin. It's really impressive what you've accomplished here, good luck.

In all the time you have been on ECC, I have seen you as one of the most outstanding mods and players, and funny ones of course, and I look up to you :)
But, when life gives you lemons, one must make lemonade! (Or some other scrumptious thing)
I'd just like to wish you great luck in your future with your career and everything else that will take course, because it sounds like you'll be having some fun!
I didn't know you really, but I hope you look at this as from someone who looks up to and admires you :D
