I think I deserve it because I have a hard time saving for resident and always end up buying expensive stuff I think i get cheap. Like the pumpkin farm that's always empty, or the 5k axe that had unbreak3, or the fact that I think I have a chance in the lottery. If I could get 15k I'd apply for resident ASAP and get a worker in my farm.

#1 I have only been playing MC for 5 days, the payment confirmation for me came in on Tue, Jul 24, 2012 at 5:08 PM. Keep this in mind.

#2 What have I done in 5 days? I found this server, found the wild, hid and built a 5-floor farm in the wild (I can show you if you want, it's still there), and didn't whine or cry when someone tore up part of it, I just shrugged and rebuilt it. When I moved out I handed it ov3er to another newbie builder that was not as capable as me. I got my hands on pumpkins, melons, wheat and sugercane before I even knew of the market. I have also managed to make probably $20,000 in that time. I have an Unbreaking3/Efficieny3 pick and an Unbreaking3 Pick that I take out mining. I have a stack of diamond blocks, full diamond armor, a chest full of coal, sold 20+ stacks of lapis and redstone all from mining. I just bought a 35x35 plot that I'm turning into a large underground farm so I don't need to beg someone to place water. I've even had enough cash on hand to be stupid enough to try the lottery a few times, heh. I still have 6k on hand right now.

#3 I am going to tell you NOT to give me the $10,000. Why? because I obviously do not need it. I would not turn it down but it is hardly a game-changer for me.

If that's not all the hallmarks of a newbie that has done almost everything right then what is? :) Frankly I am insulted by newbies that can't figure out how to make a wooden pick, their Google-fu is weak :D

why do you think you deserve the 10k?: Both myself and xxhobobunnyxx have worked extremely hard on creating our city of Caprica. 10k would really help us in protecting an important area of the city. At current we have half of a giant bridge spanning across the ocean, and it would be nice to be able to safely build the rest of it haha.

why do you think you deserve the 10k?: I'm thinking of big projects to do which cost allot! I want to make a 200x200 pvp arena, a spleef coliseum and other great structures. 10k wont pay for all of it but it can still help me get started. I also need money for my town portal. I also won 10k in another contest but he didn't have 10k left so he gave me 2k. I did not report him since it was not worth geting somone baned for that. The 10k would really help with my projects I'm thinking of.

why do you think you deserve the 10k?: If I could get a chance to get 10k I would want kghhansen123 to have it ... Because the town we lived in got wiped without notice. Kgh just became mayor of his own town. He gave help to all the members of the wiped town including giving them a free plot, some stuff to help them get re-started as they had to start from scratch. He lost a lot too but he still helped all of us out!

why do you think you deserve the 10k?: I help out the community a LOT and I need it to maintain my wheat farms and repair them. Also I need to save money for my town but i`m not buying the town until I have double the needed money for mayor.

why do you think you deserve the 10k?: The reason why I think I should get $10k is that I need for my President Fund, and this town will be just Pre-Built Homes for my friends and only Mayor+. The town will include a 200x16 Farm with different farm types. I want to do this for my friends & the community. :D
