1.Sprint can be a mod, too. Not just a hack. I was talking about the actual hacks. 2. I've never heard of it. Mumfrey never designed it to have hacks. 3. I'm sure macro's can't do it. Like I said, Mumfrey never designed it to have hacks. And this is getting irrelevant.
It's completely on topic. He allows texture pack changes what do you think xray is? He also allows you to set pitch and yaw. What do you think combat mods do? He also allows for fov changes-mega zoom? The list goes on... But it's all relevant; +1 macromodders (myself included) need to have a line set.
It's in no way relevant. The issues brought up with using macro mod to advertise whilst AFK are to do with the facts that, first, it makes chat hard to follow/clogs it and secondly it is a form of money making automation (which I don't agree with btw). The capabilities of macro mod are fully known and not the topic of discussion here. I'm not sure what "line needs to be set". And fyi, true x-ray, as found is hacked clients, reveals all ores regardless of whether they are exposed or not, on the other hand texture packs cannot do this. Combat mods use the position of entities to create these "kill auras" or whatever you want to call them, which cannot be accomplished with macromod as far as I believe. And furthermore, you cannot use macromod to fly as you could with hacked clients, even though no-cheat would stop you.
"and not the topic of discussion here" ~continues to go on and make it the topic of the discussion here. Kill aura to my knowlege would be impossible, aimbots are not. Fly would make it nearly the same exact way as hacked clients, and most hacked clients simply use an xray texture pack found inside the hacked clients file itself.... No offense, but you don't program xD I'm willing to prove anything I've said in a conversation over Skype. Find me in game for it. @rockboy2000 , I was saying this conversation is relevant because without a line drawn on macromod it's difficult for users to tell what they can and cannot due (not including extreme cases where they are blatantly against the rules ie. xray)
I was simply rebutting your arguments, which were completely incorrect. As I've explained they aren't possible, and know you can't prove it. And whilst some hacked clients may use a simple xray texture pack, the popular ones do not. "You don't program", ha. Maybe you should check out this for starters: https://ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/macro-mod-and-my-macros.86956/, https://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/all-in-one-lotto-macro.142283/. I also do backend web development for a massive CSGO site, but we won't go into that. I would just appreciate it if you did a little research before throwing statements around... This conversation isn't relevant, even though admittedly I am continuing it. Users already know what they can't do with macro mod, as outline in the rules. And with any grey areas, simply ask a member of staff, or avoid it completely. EDIT: Nice to know you can admit when you're wrong.
1.Ok, but I have never seen a x-ray texturepack. 2.It can't just look at a player. It's pretty impossible for it to have aimbot, or combat mods. The only thing I think is bad about it is 180 turns. 3.Optifine can do that too. Not a bad mod.
+1 It gets very confusing, and it also clogs up chat. I know Expiplusone leaves his on all day, and everytime you tru to contact him, he's afk.
-sigh- as I've been trotted out again, I do answer, whenever I can. However many times I receive requests that just don't make any sense, written in a language so horrible that calling it "poor english" would be a compliment. I just don't know how to answer to those requests, so I just ignore them. I don't like to deal with dumbabies, and I'm not compelled to. I hope this settles a question that started in the first place as a personal crusade against me. TL;DR: stop trotting me out, or I will consider this harassment. P.S: I don't have to defend myself from anything, however here is a thought: I'm not even the best example. I don't broadcast always the same message every 3 minutes, like most macro-ad-ers. I customized my macro and it cycles through 4-5 different messages advertising actually different things with a 200 seconds delay between each other, so each message gets actually broadcast once every 15 minutes, give or take. I surely don't clog up the chat with always the same message over and over again.
@Expipiplusone I'm not saying you don't ever respond, or that that was a personal crusade against you. I am sorry if it was taken as so.
I understand where you are coming from. It is something that is legal, but not exactly an equitable thing to do. However, I believe the use of /leave channel to be suffice.
I don't see a reason to bump a suggestion that you're visibly against. All you're just doing is literally getting it more attention than it would if it was buried under more recent threads.
