You could get around this by }$$ $${ still I believe. I agree with Nicit in that enforcing the no-AFK suggestion would not solve the underlying problem, and the resources needed to enforce this suggestion are as others have put it, simply not worthwhile and infeasible. Ever since I released my trade macro though, I have definitely realized that trade chat does become a lot more cluttered. I've literally seen a wall of double ads in trade channel several times, and most people probably won't take the time to read through all of it, or it will just scroll off your chat screen too fast, kind of hindering the effectiveness of the trade channel in my opinion for others. Didn't trade ads used to require to be 3-5 minutes apart depending on whether it was on or off-peak instead of strictly 3 minutes apart? Since trade channel is becoming more spammy then probably intended, maybe a feasible solution would be to set it to 4 or 5 minutes apart up from 3?
Eh, I haven't checked on that, though I don't agree with blocking it either. I do completely agree with this however - This will stop the constant spam in trade while not hurting MacroMod users.
Thats pretty much what i was trying to say, But add fairly on the end of it: Eh -1 because I see no feasible way to enforce this fairly
I don't think I've seen people actually change their message to say they are afk - but tbh I generally ignore great blocks of text anyway. My concern is the whole afk spambot thing.
That's why you continue to reply and, for the record, it was my first comment. You're making yourself look more and more stupid... rockboy 6 - ndm57dcraft nill I only date girls with brains, neither of which he has going for him
Honestly, from seeing the posts on here, I'm not just going to be arrogant and stick with my point. Like many others have said, it is annoying, and that's what set me off into thinking this should be illegal, although it could be a bigger issue if more users decide to use this. But for the moment this shouldn't be illegal. The problem I agree with, is there is no way to enforce this. Although I personally feel it gives an unfair advantage, this would be annoying and stupid for staff to enforce. However, I do agree with many other people on this post saying the trade advertisements should be increased to 5 minutes minimum.
+1 I agree that macros are unfair, I understand they can help users in many ways, but you need to remember hacked clients are ALSO MACROS, we can't tell if they are making their own. I understand it's unfair for all users to be unable to use it, just I'd like to state my opinion on this.
What.... AFK trade chat has NOTHING to do with hacked clients; it's a (semi) simple script written by a player with no malicious intent. The source code is even open via 3point's forum post. There's no connection between macros and hacked clients in any way regarding trade ads. It's just me, but if we are banning MacroMod because it can be a "hacked client".... I seriously don't even know what to say at that point.
Hacked clients are NOT macros. Do MACROS let you fly? What about KA? That's a bot, not a macro. Sprint? Possibly. X-Ray??? No. A CHEAT. A something-that-is-not-a-macro. And the auto-macro-advert-thing: -1 because I'm very sure a lot of people use macros, especially for /ch tr. Also, if you don't know what a macro is, Spoiler: Link https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=what is the definition of macros Macros are simple, not complex like custom clients have grown to be. For phase in clients: Test to see if the user is pushing against something. If that's true, force-tp forward and downward 1 block. If succses, reset. Macros do stuff like a simple turn or message in chat.
It is an explanation of how hacks bypass ncp to skipclip into, or through doors, and most transparent blocks.
For hakes like Direkt (<<< Private hard to get don't worry about the name being said in public), the client waits for you to push up against a block. When It sees you do that, it will tp you through the door, or whatever your trying to get through, and teleport down. The first teleport is to get through the door, and the second is to make NC+ forget about you phasing through the door. Basically NC+ sees you go into the ground, but not through the door. So when it finds you going 1 block into the ground it teleports you back up, but not behind the door again. There is a huge thread about hacks on *******'s server forum, but I can't say the name. I might post something here on the forums all about hacks.
I can Sprint on macro. You can xray with it but it's illegal. You also can fly, but without the feature ncp would stop you, Hell, If I do chose I could do more with macros than I could with any hacked client.
