I would personally vote no.

This is because there are to many amazing structures in the aether for it to be reset.
If a aether resit were to even be thought of then people should be allowed to have their existing creations world edited into the new aether map and that would be a massive hassle.

Maybe expanding our existing aether map?

 

The problem is that trash takes up too much room in the aether. Walk 100 blocks from spawn and you'll find dirt huts taking up room that could be used for other things. Now, there is still room left in the aether, but it is so far out it takes me. A while to get there on speed 10 fly. The aether needs to be reset however ONLY if people's amazing builds can be transferred as that's ton of work and should not be gotten rid of.

 

Nope, I don't use the aether but have you seen some of the builds n the aether?

 

I have not seen the Aether recently, but I have seen the great structures in the past. It would be a shame to lose them, but I do think there should be an Aether reset.

Aether is basically dead now, from what I have gathered: Farming animals is not viable and/or allowed and/or possible anymore; structures are everywhere and there is no open space; and new generation options are probably available and far more interesting.

There could be a poll, in the least, to see if people want and/or would be okay with a reset. I think it would do some good, though, and bring some liveliness back to ECC with another thing of excitement. Might inspire people to build even greater things - floating, island, bridges, in the sky... - and get them buying more materials. Spawn market or user shops; money dumps and money flow. Would be refreshing and give some of the bored users something new to do.

 

An expansion would be best.
