Denied Add a feature for animal breeding.

    Suggestion:
    That a feature is made to allow animals to be bred.

    Reason:
    Let's face it, there are few animals on ECC, after when Andrew killed them all off, and animals are slowly dying off, by being griefed, by an error when building, etc. We need more animals to help sustain that section of the economy. I propose a feature to allow the breeding of animals, in two tiers, Breed and Breed+.
    Breed
    • Allows breeding of horses, donkeys, and llamas.
    • Has a 120 hour (5 day) cooldown period before anything can be bred again.
    • Costs $100.
    Breed+
    • Allows breeding of any animals.
    • Has a 48 hour (2 day) cooldown period before anything can be bred again.
    • Costs $150.

    Any Other Information:
    I know similar suggestions have been denied in the past, but I feel that I have weighted this feature so significantly, that few will buy it and be able to breed, especially as very few will buy the base future, and fewer buying the higher tier. This would also allow for the creation of horses with better stats, and create a feature that helps you to earn money.

    No, just add to PermissionsEx or whatever the ECC equivalent is.

    I would make them USD 150 and USD 250-300, respectively.
    A mob egg is worth roughly 15k and features are sold at roughly 10k/USD: if Breed costs USD 100 and lets you create a new animal every 3 days, you can recoup the investment in less than 7 months; even less than 6 months, for Breed+ at USD 150: too low IMHO, considering that the main reason why breed was disabled in the first place is that animals create severe lag (AFAIK).

    Or, if we don't want too high a price, the cooldowns could be raised to 5 days and 2 days, respectively.

    That being said, +1 to the general idea of this suggestion: in addition to a high cost, introducing a cooldown allows for a good fine-tuning.

    No matter how much I want this to happen, it most likely will not. I liked the way you explained this though. If this was added to the server, I would buy it 100%! +1
