Happens to me also

 

I believe that there was a nerf where you have to wait around 5 seconds to gain EXP. This nerf greatly dissapointed me, but it may still be in effect.

 

I tested this in-game. I did this in 5, then 10 second intervals. None of my tests seemed to gain EXP. This may be a bug or intentional.

I agree, it seems XP is turned off for Acrobatics.

Hmm I have tried porting to random areas with '/wild land' and waiting 5,10, and 30 seconds before falling and I'm also not gaining any XP even though I am taking damage. My procedure for testing is as follows:

1. Use the '/wild land' command.
2. Use /acrobatics to check XP
3. Fly/climb up somewhere high.
4. Wait 30 seconds.
5. Turn off fly/jump off.
6. Take fall damage.
7. Use /acrobatics again, verify that the XP value did not change.

I have tried falling around my town, falling around towns near spawn (WallStreet), falling in the wild, and falling in the mining world. In cases where I teleported I would wait 10 seconds, fall, wait another 30 seconds, and fall again (wasn't necessarily high, just as long as I took damage). Each time I did not gain any exp even though I took fall damage.

 

I'm not getting any exp from acrobatics. I'm not using any homes or tps or lift signs and i'm not jumping off the same spot each time either.

I walk to the top of a cliff and jump off. no exp. I walk to the top of a different cliff. no exp. my falls are not from too high of a height either, less than 20 blocks.

 

Nomatter what i do, i don not get xp. For example, i stay afk at my house, check my exp and jump off the roof. I check the exp again and its the same. It happens multiple times. The acrobatics is broken. Even the graceful landing doesnt work at all. I suggest downgrading to an older version.
