I recently started playing on the almighty ECC server again after about a year break. I am now playing on a new computer with the same Minecraft account (same name). As I am progressing through ECC and making money, I am noticing my account here on ECC is not connected to my player in the game. For example, I have over $3,000 in the game, but my profile here says I have a $0 balance.
My biggest concern, I am thinking about making a purchase from the shop for additional /home and other things, but I am afraid if I make the purchase with my online account, it will not be activated on the ECC sever. What is the best route to take to ensure my ecocitycraft.com account is linked up with my ECC server account?
Thank you in advance to anyone who can help!!

As long as the usernames match, your account is automatically connected to your forum balance.
The forum balance, however, does not show your ingame balance. The forum balance is separated, you can send money from the server to the forum using "/bank deposit <amount>" and get it back ingame with "/bank withdraw <amount>". Any forum applications will be using the ingame balance, the forum balance is only used for sportsbook betting and stock trading.-

That makes a lot of sense, thanks! A lot has changed in the year I have been inactive. I'm looking forward to trying out the trading and sportsbook as I build up a bigger balance.
Thanks again for the help and the quick turnaround time! -
