Although that looks like it may be a possibility but obviously it would, by default, be enabled so people could not die and they would then have the option to toggle it off and on when they wanted. I do not see how the chances of someone dying without turning it off themselves, And the chances of that would be the same as someone using the /clear or /ci command, we have access to those and in my opinion they would be more hazardous in using then this.
I mean it sounds cool n all but ya know i have my water donation feature turned off all the time, for some reason i can't turn it back on….
I honestly don't see any harm in applying this to the Water+ or Pyro+ packages. Stolio makes a solid point, I too would be worried about my items if this command were in the game. Although I have to enter /fly every time I join the game so if immunity were on be default I would not oblige. Great way to spice up PVP!
I really can't find that many cons unless you have your eff 7 out and you realize you don't have it on at the last second and no tombstone in the wild. Very hard scenario to recreate, but I guarantee you, this will happen xD
I'm only 'for' this if it's automatically enabled and you have to toggle it off, and then it resets to on if you log out.
+1 I love this idea. To have a new way to pvp would be amazing. I myself really enjoy being able to toggle off mcmmo abilities to make pvp more interesting and would love to be able to be a part of this new twist. Being a donator of water+ I would not be able to join in on this fun, but if I were to have the capabilities to toggle water breathing off I would.
I think this is a good idea. However every change to the way things work comes with potential unexpected problems. That in and of itself should not be enough to make this a bad idea. Change is good, but the concerns of the few should not be ignored.

I'm kind of on the fence about this suggestion because I've purchased water+ and pyro+ to become somewhat "invincible" and the idea that I might actually die from suffocation/burning scares me a bit. However, if toggling water+/pyro+ features can benefit many people and the default is kept as is (i.e. being immune to suffocation/burn damage is the default and it gets reset every time we log off and back on) I guess why not..
Would nice to have it default no damage and then you have to turn to hurt you that way you can't log out and forget about it then die I personally would love this An cause there no way to easily kill yourself without falling and fly off Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hmm... it seems the main reason you want it is for PvP? Why not just have fire and suffocation invincibility disabled in PvP zones? Or would that be too hard to code? But I don't see any problems with adding a command... as long as there are no bugs where it suddenly becomes disabled for no apparent reason D:

Just a quick note. The easiest way to code this, would be to make it on by default, and disable it via command each login.
