Hey guys I am aplying for mayor and am confused about how to make my town. I have a 200x200 plot in the ocean. I am confused as to how many blocks there should be between my town post signs. 200? Or only 198 acounting for the block that the sign is on. Thanks for your help and sugestions!

Well, the difference between each post should be 199 apart, e.g:
Post 1: 0 65 0
Post 2: 199 65 0
Post 3: 0 65 199
Post 4: 199 65 199 -
put the sign on the 200th block, if you put it at 201st block you fail. pay fine now.
from sign to sign will be or should be 200 blocks, if your worried that the block with the sign will not be counted, worry no more as the block with the sign is counted as part of your region. -
Distance in-between the signs is 198, the total distance from sign to sign is 200,

This would make your town 199x199 and not 200x200.
