Suggestion: Make a "Sandbox" arena, one where players are flagged to change the scenery. Restricted to with in the cubed area maybe limited down 10 blocks from ground level.

Reason: The idea here is with the mining world de-militarised and the nether being sparesly fought in. The idea is to make an arena which is modifiable. The users build in or destroy at whim. Users can make broken landscape and fight over a rapidly changing landscape. Free to make pitfalls and towers to help them defeat their adversaries.

Any Other Information: As much as I would like to see pyro and water enabled they might deliberately or accidentally be abused by spilling out of the arena.

Anyway I'm sure there are plans for the incomplete arenas but I just wished to throw an idea out that I thought of.

 

The idea is that for with in a cubed area you are allowed to fight in a sand box that can be changed, I cannot recall the size of the arenas but ill just say if perms are given for a 50 x 50 x 50 cube. Also why would the entire arena be demolished? If it were a stone or cobble floor it would be very unprofitable to mine away with pvp around, unless you gathered a team to protect you. Alternately it could always just be a thin layer covering bedrock say 2 deep of sand. Besides there are always 3 other arenas that are death hole free, I just like to be able to use the terrain to my advantage or disadvantage and then change it to get the drop on the other guy

 

yes to be an archer and to be able to craft your own murder holes and arrow slits to fire on the hapless with out the worry of some swordsman being able to reach you easily. That's the dream.

 

Well its mainly 1 idea, a malleable fighting arena, just setting the bounds on how malleable it is, is why there are so many other ideas floating about as lets face it, people love to deface objects for the sake of it if they can.
