The best way to learn is through teaching others. Interact denies people from killing mobs and using chests. Whereas the use flag will deny people from using doors, switches, levers and all those items (Basically anything that has to be "used" rather than opened, in a way). (When 314 says Master Obble you know your thread is a success)

The interact flag does everything you said - however, it basically includes the use flag as it blocks buttons/doors/et cetera. So it was not a complete explanation. Thus, sir, you have failed.
