Suggestion: A well-maintained listing of server /sell hand prices which includes information on when a price was changed, why it was changed, and what it had changed from. If a price change is experimental in nature (e.g., it's in trial and open to change), this should be indicated as well. This could take the form of either a wiki page or a stickied forum topic. Reasoning: Price changes in ECC are a Big. Deal. The economy can be profoundly influenced by even small fiddling, and the recent uproar over the Great July Pumpkin Nerf (as I'm sure it will come to be known) underlines player obsession over these numbers. With the first bunch of changes, there was a tremendous amount of questioning and misinformation. Many people had no idea what prices had changed, which had not, and which might in the near future. I found myself doing /worth <everything I could think of>, and still only getting half the picture as I had no easy list of item IDs. If a centralized source of server /sell prices was available, it would be very easy to immediately see what had changed, why it had changed, and if the change was likely to be permanent. Players could simply be directed to the listing, rather than being left to spam general chat with pricing questions over and over again. The list would have many other uses outside of those relatively rare occasions when pricing changes, the most important of which being: -An easy source of information for new players -A comprehensive listing of pricing for strategizing new sources of income The listing might also include a centralized area for discussion so that future price changes could be analyzed and discussed. I'm sure many within the player-base would love to see greater community involvement, as evidenced by the support of the recent price committee suggestion, and being included in the planning stages (or at least having access to more information with a means by which they can give input) would be a huge step forward in this regard. This area of discussion could either be a distinct message board area or else a dedicated thread linked to from the listing. Aside from setting it up, this would take very little effort to maintain and would be a great source of information to new players and veterans alike. At those times when price changes do occur, such a listing would help to eliminate confusion and misinformation while simultaneously cleaning up general chat. Mods can simply direct users to the listing, which ideally would include not only the price (both current and former) itself but the rationale for its change.

I made this list last week but the prices are as of today, 7/18/12. Item ID off MC wiki http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Data_values , and value from /worth in game. Some names don't match to the server such as "Minecart with Chest" is called Storageminecart in game. I may have also missed a few of the building stone blocks (circle stone for sure as I didn't see an ID for it on the wiki). Please add anything I missed. As for updating this list when changes happen... I'll leave that up to someone else unless I happen to have time LOL. RagMan
I'm just gonna say it now before andrew does - no such official listing will be made for the forseeable future, if ever. There used to be a pretty awesome one with spreadsheets and everything, but it got taken down, and all suggestions to revive it have been answered no (and I also recall andrew asking that no one ever actually makes one unofficially). Sorry.
We are forbidden of making an unofficial price list? That doesnt make much sense.. Maybe becouse if the player comitted a mistake it would affect several players and cause confusion? (just a guess)
Lol it was supposed to be Ahh ok that makes alot more sense. Thanks Stupid iPad Btw our plugins arent really that secret. Some of them are actually pretty obvious
Against the rules makes no sense to me, sorry. I don't want to really argue the reason's and I am sorry if this really was against any rules. It did only take me 25 minutes to pull up the Minecraft Wiki and copy the items into Excel, log into the game, and do /worth on each item. The other servers copying with "ease" reason seems like an invalid reason since anyone with 25 minutes to spare could do the same thing I just did. Right now I am making a list of buy & sell price & quantity that people were offering in their spawn trade shop. I figured a central list would both promote shopping at spawn in general (badly needed), competition in prices which usually lowers prices (better prices for players), and a list would make it so players don't have to look through 25-30 shops for the best deal (saves time, more fun playing). I guess I will keep my list secret since it's already halfway done if this too is against the rules. RagMan
