Ragman recently informed me of a rule that I can't do. So with that, I have droped out of the event, thanks to my voters!
This has been blown way out of proportion. We wanted to try to get Jets into Vent for an ECC election debate. We thought it would be fun as Jets is one of those users who never had/has a working mic. We even decided to fund and pay for a mic to be sent to Jets just for this purpose. Jets has since refused and because of this he thinks he needs to drop out. The debate was an idea that came out of left field and I was only really using it to poke fun at Jets for not having a mic and to get him to accept our generosity of a new one, I was not trying to force him out of the race or to derail anything hes done as this was a private chat in staff as well. Votes have not been wasted, rules have not been changed. AFAIK Ike is in charge and I believe he posted that only the bottom two are DQ'd after this vote and clearly Jets will be moving onto the next round if he wants. Sorry Jets, you jumped into global and announced your resignation all of a sudden over this when my goal was just to get you to accept a free new microphone so you could join us in vent. RagMan
