2 Years... and it's anniversary season again!!! Even though I haven't spent all two of them entirely active on the server, so much has happened! I never did a 1 year thread, so this is going to be long... and I have no idea where to even begin...

It all started with me and my friend @Olson1995 chilling in a Skype call early in the summer bored and wanting to play a new minecraft server. So I go ahead and google "good minecraft servers" and up comes the most popular. When I saw "Biggest Economy Server" I thought how tf could minecraft have an economy, surely enough, through the magic of plugins there was literally money in minecraft, something I thought was so incredible, and wanted to do so badly! So we go ahead and join, and immediately have the intention to make the biggest farm to make millions, so we go into what I believe was the mining world at the time, and make ourselves a sugar cane farm down at level 11 thinking that we will be so snickey, but literally after 15 minutes of us building our farm and having our sugar cane up, some miner comes up, takes the sugar cane, and destroys our farm. G_G With that method clearly probably never going to work, we go into the survival games and try to win a game. Through the serverwide advertisements whenever someone won, it seemed to make the most money on the server for someone starting off (Keep in mind that this was back in 2013, so not every player had kits and all 8 arenas had 24 players in them at all times). So we go in, and we would always do minecraft pvp, so we understood the concept of this and ended up winning our first game, we got some $2,500 and that was so much money for a builder XD. We went to the market, got ourselves a set of diamond armor with the money we won to look cool, then offered in trade chat some money for a place to live.

As soon as I advertise, @ZeCheeseMaster pm's me right away saying that he will gladly offer me a plot, he tp's me to a plot on the beach, and says go nuts! @ZeCheeseMaster was the best to me, I asked him a lot of questions, and being that annoying builder all the time I bet he still looks at me like one whenever he hops on XD. Even today I always still go to that house I sold to @twinsfan5 for 15k to get resident. I remember how cheese made this super tall skyscraper right next to my house, and after seeing that gave me inspiration for the town Archipelago that some of you might know. House coordinates: Legacy| x: -8469 | z: -3042

So here I lived in Dreaderscity for about a week, and once I sold my house to Twinsfan, I got resident pretty much the day after I joined (Read signature). With this I just keep a few chests somewhere in his town, and go right ahead to get mayor. I use on of Cheese's farms next to dreaderscity that him and @KaceytronIsBae owned (back when his name was Austinsplaneguy). I farmed melons here for a day with a regular diamond sword, and it made crap money, I mean I'm pulling a 16 hour day as a builder waking up, farming melons, going to bed, and still making about 20k/day. But for mayor... it was so worth it ^-^

If I was to get mayor asap, I needed help, this is when I asked my sister if she wanted to join this really fun server with me. I said that we could run this extremely cool town together but I would need help making the money. so @Caitlin_Crime hops onto ECC and I tell her to go into the mining world and start chopping down trees for money. She makes about 10k the first day and I make my usual 20k melon farming. After a few days doing this, I get enough money for mayor, and within less than a week playing this server, I R mayor.

So now me and Caitlin both start up our town Remmington which was by far one of the best ideas ever. I got the name from Runescape and our town was actually placed next to another town, Varrock, which was another town name from Runescape. Coincidence? o_O I think not. Caitlin and I make this sick farm made of obsidian and glass, and we get some plots made and start selling them to new players. Back when nearly 400 players were always playing, plots were being sold like flapjacks on a Sunday morning in Alabama. I remember ever person that lived in Remmington, and a lot of them still play today.

You guys are the real reason I still play today. Getting all that excitement from your nubbiness starting off and watching you grow is what inspired me to do everything I do today. @Original_Jackson @ATWINKIE @bARely_TrYx_HI @Mochocrap I still have all of you guys kept on a speadsheet I had for my town XD. You guys are by far the people that have come the furthest and I'm so proud to see you guys come so far here on ECC. You guys make still playing so much more worth it, and I mean that to all 4 of you, and everyone else that was involved with Remmington.

After the summer of 2013, with the economy crash in August where cocoa bean were like $2.50 each, I decided to take a break from ECC. With school starting I knew that everything wasn't going to balance well. So with that being said, I leave ECC in early September being a President and giving Caitlin all of our work we did with Remmington.....

I come back to ECC around January 2014 to something entirely different. The spawn is different, SG is abandoned, there are only 150 players on at a time instead of 400, it was eerie to me. When I come back Remmington is deserted and I have no idea what to do with it, so Caitlin and I decide to sell it, to which we do. @LegendaryTrio buys Remmington from us for 500k and we leave it be.

With Remmington being sold, I start my new nation Corellia, and find a new group of friends in teamspeak with my sister Cait. We call each other the Berbers, which is why me and @Mochocrap have our custom tags as "Berber". I meet a ton of new people now that I've come back and Caitlin intoduced me to them all. @MSU_SPaRtAns321 was there and @Mochocrap of course, eventually @ruffneck50 and @Jetscat come along and we do... things together that I will never forget :)

Now summer has started and my one year is around the corner, everyone was doing one year threads and I didn't feel like making one. Being a VIP Tycoon after one year made me feel accomplished and I was proud of it. Team Berber brought in a new person with the Summer starting, @icecream32112. Me and her have a ton of fun together sging, after being in Team Berber for awhile, we both decide to get ECC married and live in my house together in Corellia. Her being my first ECC wife.

An entire summer goes by, and endless things happen. We would wake up, skype all day, and go to bed. It was the best thing someone could ask for being with the people I loved all day. @BlackSnowAngel17 and @iticip and a bunch of others come in our group and we all do our all day skypes over and over again. It was great.

Now summer comes to an end, and school starts again so I take my annual break from ECC in late August as some ECC drama was happening and some... stuff happened. Something that changed ECC for a lot of people, and I didn't want to be in the middle of it, so like a lot of others, I disband.

Now I come back, blah blah blah, ECC has like 60 players on at a time and it's pretty sad, I get Ecoleader within a month of returning and do town transfers on my nation so I can be the original owner of them all. I also get portals and warps for all of my towns so they can be interconnected. It costs a lot, but I did it, and boy it took me awhile to get. With a lot of the old Berbers on different servers >.> I decide to make some new friends so I hop on teamspeak. There are a few people on, and I join their channel and strike up a conversation.

I make some new really close friends within a week or so, and think about starting up Team Berber again with these new peeps. so now I meet @idkhowtoplay @Ellie27 @Dodos1 @GMaxx @wolfwoodnyo and decide to bring them in and have our little clan again after meeting them in early April. I become like family with these people. We do the same thing that I did last summer. We wake up, talk all day, and go to bed, and it is the best thing ever. Every day is so much fun and I hope I never lose these people as friends. I also loved meeting @Raccooy

Now comes late April, and staff applications open. I hadn't applied for staff since I first joined, so with this being my second time applying, I take it into heavy consideration. I thought it would be best if I at least gave staff a shot, so I convince myself and @idkhowtoplay to apply for staff. What really convinced me to apply for staff were all of the staff when I first joined. Mainly I remember @sick24 @Alarah @clou44 and @Physicistsmom being my main inspiration when I first joined. They were the best mods a server could possibly have, and I always wanted to be just like them, and now was my chance.

About 3 weeks go by and while I'm sleeping, my phone gets spammed with text messages from @Mochocrap screaming YOU GOT STAFF YOU GOT STAFF!!! It's the middle of the night and I think, oh what the hell, lets just wake up and get on to see if he's telling the truth. I go on the forums and I see the moderator stuff on the forums now, it completely changed my perspective of the forums and would definitely change my perspective of in-game.

I hop on in-game to find myself and @Ladyvamptress being the only staff on, which we both got promoted at the same time. Her being a past Supermod she kinda had the right idea of what to do, and me being the nubby mod at the time it was weird and she was helping me learn the baby steps of staff, thanks lady <3

I meet so many new people on staff and we are like a family on there, we all have fun and get along really well. So after about 3 weeks being on staff it was heartbreaking when I talked to phys about resigning. The day after, I log on and see my Ecoleader tag again.

Now here I am, I'm an Ecoleader, I've been on staff, and I've met some of the most inspiring people ever on this server. To me, you guys are like family to me. Even though we do have some trolls in our community, the rest of the community definitely outweighs them. I have even more plans as my third year here beings, and I hope the group of people I am with now stays. When the Hub server arrives, I hope it can bring a new and larger community here to ECC that beats the one we have now, even though that will be pretty hard to do ;)

There was A TON I had to keep out of this, two years contains a lot of nubby stories, maybe next year I can elaborate more o_O but if you read this whole thing I really do appreciate it :) I hope every else out there has a good anniversary as this is the time of year everyone rolls them out! You guys really are the best :)
