Why should you win one of the giweaway?: I have never won one of these give away and do not expect to. But I believe that I deserve to win just as much as the next person. I could really use the money but as I said I am not expecting anything from you. I would like to thank you for hosting this give away and giving me the opportunity to win some money.
What have you done to positively affect ecc?: I regularly give money, items and tools to residents and builders as well as good advice in the hope that that will help them rank up a bit faster and extend their time playing on the server. I have donated almost $300 and am planning to donate further in the future. I spend lots of time on ECC and try to help with grow and develop further in any way I can.
What will you do with the money? I am currently saving for a melon sword. I have bought one on a plan and have 400k left to pay. I have 50k currently. After I finish paying off the melon sword with hours of melon farming I am planning to save up lots of ECD to try and obtain the [VIP] rank. Then [ECOLEADER] and possibly running for a position in staff.
Who else should win this besides yourself and why?: As I previously stated. Honestly everyone deserves to win this, but I believe that someone that needs the money should win the give away. I would be very thankful and happy if I were to win the 100k, but I consider that chance very unlikely. So if I were to win the 25k that would be great. But whether I win that or not I would just like to say that I appreciate what you are doing and I think it is for a good cause. I wish you good luck in ECC and thank you.

Why should you win one of the giveaway?: Because the money will go towards the greatest of causes, to create a scale replica of the glorious communist nation of china and to conquer the known world. I don't believe I am the top contender to receive this money, quite the opposite, but I would very much like to have some extra ecd.​

What have you done to positively affect ecc?: I have sold various items gained from farming and buying. I have donated to needy tycoons and have been low-bidding on everything in /ch auc. To be honest though, I haven't done much more than your average joe on the server but I have great ambitions when I gain more money.​

What will you do with the money?: Blow it all on lotto. The money will be used to firstly, buy me mayor, and secondly, ensure that we have a 100% homogeneous, utopian society in my shining example of a perfect town, the glorious communist nation of china.​

Who else should win this besides yourself and why?: GeneralZach because just recently he told me that in fact I should earn money before building my utopian society because a lot of work ends up being griefed. He offered me to use his fishing table and his zombie spawner for free to earn some money, and then supplied me with armor, a sword, and an (expensive) enchanted fishing rod. He also bought my nether stars for a good price. I asked him though, why is he so nice? He simply said that when he was a builder, it was tough for him too and nobody helped him like he helped me.​

Gernen deserves a thousand prizes, he helped me understand ECC further and helped me relocate my home with free tps. He also gave me 6000ecd without hesitation when I simply mentioned I had 9000ecd. He recently taught me how to brew potions as I haven't played minecraft in quite a fair bit and offered me a dchestful of swiftness II potions that I had to refuse. Gernen I believe could possibly be one of the nicest people on this server, I don't know if that means much to you considering I've only been on here for about a week or so, but it certainly does mean alot to me.​

Why should you win the giveaway?: I've been playing ECC for over 2 years now and I feel that i should be rewarded or granted more resources (money) to continue to help out newcomers in ECC and on Minecraft in General!
What have you done to positively affect ecc?: I've helped out many builders turn into proud residents or mayors by creating a builder town (Highland and Naperville) and i just recently sold them and was looking in the market to create more fun areas for newcomers to dwell!
What will you do with the money? I will help out numerous players on ECC by providing loans, homes, and more towns for builder & Residents all throughout ECC!
Who else should win this besides yourself and why?: Cardinal3 AdmiralD or MSU_SPaRtAns321 These 3 people have been helping me out throughout the past few weeks and i feel that if i don't get chosen, they should because they deserve it more than I.​

Why should you win the giweaway?: I am constantly giving back to others and giving away my tools and money to benefit others. Over time, this has made my balance become quite low and I am currently almost out of money. All of my money benefits the ECC Community directly and goes back to help others besides just myself. I believe that I am a prime candidate for this money, being that it will go right toward improving the server and everybody on it. I am always helping others and doing anything I can for them.

What have you done to positively affect ecc?: As mentioned above, I have given my time and tools to others to help them out when in need. Whenever somebody needs something done, I am the first ot jump on it and go out of my way to make sure it gets done. There isn't anything that turns me away, I am motivated to accomplish anything that is thrown in front of me. By helping others and giving back to the server, I have done my part in retaining the new members and making sure everybody is enjoying their experience on the server.

What will you do with the money? With this money I will replenish my balance and find more ways to give back to the server. I am very creative when it comes to ways to give back, and this money will be put to use doing just that. It doesn't take much to help somebody out, but the money if definitely handy in purchasing supplies and giving away in small amounts to those in need. This money will be plugged right back into the server to benefit everybody and promote the well-being of the server.

Who else should win this besides yourself and why?: I also believe that ze7707 should win this money, being that he also helps out a lot of people. We have both worked together to help others in certain instances, and he is a really good friend of mine. I would also like to see him receive one of the amounts listed above.

Why should you win the giweaway?: I have always loved to see people who go the extra mile to serve the players of ECC by doing giveaways of monetary funds and items in-game. Therefore, I would like to apply so that I may be helped in my efforts to give back to the server. I feel that all players have a chance to shine, so they all have a fair chance in these giveaways that players of the highest grade, such as appleprocucling and Falconaire, are providing the opportunity to us.
What have you done to positively affect ECC?: I have done many things to contribute to the server, and here is a list of the past 10 months of service.

1. I have managed 3 towns, and in all 3 of those towns I have given farm access to players, as well as free tools to players, so that they can earn money to achieve their goals on the server. I have also built houses for the players, for free, so that their items can be safe in a nice home, while they are earning money.
2. Many players have asked me for help, so I have given them tours of spawn and the server itself, and they have decided to come to my town and become what some may call an "apprentice" to me. One such player is illumiscend, and now he has a wonderful home in my 3rd town. Other players such as Inokard were very enthusiastic to receive my help, and so they have somewhat risen up on the server.
3. I have done several giveaways of the Resident rank + a free plot in my town, and they have been great friends to me as well. Although only one was official on the forums, the other 2 were done in my town. Players told me why they should be picked as resident in the local chat.

What will you do with the money? If I won this giveaway, I would simply put it towards my fund of doing larger giveaways in the future, perhaps giving out the Mayor rank to players. I would also purchase players the Teleport donation feature, particularly 3, so that they have a chance to receive some of the perks that supporters of the server get.
Who else should win this besides yourself and why?: Well, there's a lot of people that should win this besides myself.

1. Falcon2552, because he has been a great friend and a loyal companion in my EcoCityCraft career. He has helped me through tough times and we have always had fun together.
2. Sreepathi12345, because he has given atleast 100,000 ECD total to me when I needed the money. He has a habit of paying me increments of 1000-10000 ECD as soon as he logs on.
3. rk2002, because he is a great friend, master resource pack creator, and a great architect/builder.
4. SolaceDevotio, because she has helped me get the rank of President, and donated a lot of tools to me when I was dying to lava and fall damage.

What have you done to positively affect ecc?: As 'dante123113' I gave 2-3 Builders -> Resident and I gave over 10 Builders Starter kits (Not /kit starter, like diamond stuff xD) As 'MaxToMinimum' I have given 3 Builders Starter Kits and with both dante123113 and I I am helping anyone who needs help and I try to lighten the mood on the server.
What will you do with the money?: I plan to use the money to help me rank up to EcoLeader, and then get a total of 10 star tools and a 10,000 Power Level

Why should you win the giweaway?: I do not believe I am the sole winner of this giveaway, as many have done more than me and have an equal chance or greater chance. However, I believe I may stand out because I help others in a different way other than free donation services. This will be explained below.

What have you done to positively affect ecc?:I positively affect ECC by constantly trying to improve others' playing experiences. I frequently answer questions in chat and try to service as many players as possible. Though I may not have ample funds to give-away or donation services to provide, I try the best I possibly can to assist others and whatever they may need. Whether it is a builder or Game-Admin who requires assistance, if I may help solve or even alleviate their problem for just a little bit, I will attempt to do so.

What will you do with the money? I will use the money to fund the re-construction of my town and put my closer to achieving my dream of an active and diverse player community.

Who else should win this besides yourself and why?: As many have stated, I believe Falconaire should win. His kind and friendly attitude has made him a role model for many players including myself. He gave away around 3 million ECDs to date and him winning this giveaway would let him know that what he is doing is worth it and appreciated.

I always do my best to make ECC the best for the users around me. Even if it would be great to win, there are always users above you. No one is ever the best in anything. Everyone has something to bring to the table at hand. If they hadn't, the community wouldn't be where it is today. As Falconaire said, everyone deserves something.​

What have you done to positively affect ecc?:​

I've helped the server to the best of my ability. I've given builders plots, bought users ranks (Resident - President), done free donation features for users, helped to dispense my knowledge of ECC, and done a few giveaways of my own.​

I always encourage builders and guide them best I can. The thing about builders is that this server has just about everything to offer. For the majority of the new players, it can become VERY overwhelming. But once guided, the notice becomes the master.​

​

I've played this server for more than 2 years. Even though my forum date states that I had joined in August, 2012, I've played for longer than that. I lost interest because I never had an arrow to show me the way. Once I came back, I took it upon myself to learn what I could. That's really when I learned what it meant to not judge a book by its cover. Just like anything else, you need to learn how to use it before you can put it to use.​

And because of my experience, I always try to help new users or even existing users become acquainted with the server by answering questions, giving advice, explaining situations or rules, aiding financially, or anything that I can offer.​

What will you do with the money?​

I plan to buy more donation features and work my way up to [VIP]. I've said this in some of my other giveaways but it is true. Most of the acts that I perform come from my donation features. They also help with my financial outcome, which isn't much. I don't tend to play lotto and with all of my IRL situations, it can be difficult to find the time to earn money. When I am on, my time is usually spent speaking with other users such as my co-mayors and town members. Not that I'm complaining by any means. I love to stay in touch with the users I encounter whether I meet them through selling plots, from my giveaways, job offerings, or donation services.​

Who else should win this besides yourself and why?: ​

I'll pick just one user although I believe that there are plenty of other users that deserve this. I'm going to jump on the bandwagon now. The 1st place prize should (by my judgment anyways) undoubtedly go to Falconaire. But come to think of it, there's always a reason a bandwagon comes into play. Obviously, the community thinks of Falconaire as highly as I do. ​

This user performs countless altruistic acts for the users of this server. The best part is that he expects nothing in return. I don't talk to Falcon much. I don't need to. His actions speak for himself. I get a front row seat. He has molded himself to becoming a role model for this community. An icon for generosity. Congratulations on your achievement Falconaire. Well deserved.​

What have you done to positively affect ecc?: I have helped many people who were new to the server or really needed something. For example, I have answered people's questions, who were new to the server. I have given people free money too. I also offer advice. And one more thing, I invite my friends to check out this server.
What will you do with the money? I will invest it. (The investment I will take is a secret) Then, I will do charitable things with the money, like giveaways. Once I become a generous and helpful person, I hope I influence other people to do the same too.
Who else should win this besides yourself and why?: People who are generous and nice like me, except they have done a bit more than me, maybe people who do the samethings except spend more time on the server doing it. My time is limited, but I strive to spend it wisely.

Why should you win the giveaway?:
To be honest, I don't deserve to win anymore than any other player that has applied.
I am just a regular EcoCityCrafter, trying to help others when possible, just like everyone else does so, and
continues to do so.
What have you done to positively affect ecc?:
I recently have been trying to give builders and maybe a few residents some enchanted fishing rods, I know not many people like to fish but I had about 8 enchanted fishing rods and I never used them, As long as these builders that I have gave them to use them to benefit themselves or help others, I love giving them away, If they sell them in trade chat for money I don't care. Whats the point of having items you don't need if they can impact on another players time on ECC? I hope I've been making an impact to their time on ECC, if not, I don't give up on my first time, second time, or third time. I must achieve my goals to help others and hopefully inspire builders to do the same. Of course helping people TOO much is a bad thing, just because they can't "lift their own weight" when they get to be a higher rank and depend on others to help them. Of course, I love helping but we all shouldn't help them too much as they won't be able to make their own money when they eventually get to be a higher rank because once you're a higher rank you must try to make money yourself, but helping others get around, learn rules, etc is something that is always a good thing to do! Helping Financially 99.9% of the time can affect how some will grow in the future. Well enough with elaborating on that last detail. (Got a little bit carried away) Anyways, positive attitudes are always a wonderful thing to have when on ECC. Keeping a positive attitude gives new players (Maybe old ones that aren't familiar with some new rules) a chance to figure out what some of the rules are like. (For Example: Lets say a builder has beat me in Survival Games. [Happens a lot actually] lets say I be a big person and say Good game to them, they respond with Good game back ) Now, you may think what is saying Good game going to help any person achieve anything in ECC? Well, here is where it gets kind of confusing. When I was a builder/resident I realized how much people said Good Game, so I figured "Oh this seems like a good idea to make more friends" which has in fact helped me, all of my friends and other users that just make my day by giving a ":]". Alright I feel I have done enough elaborating on that part. I have also done a chest hunt type thing, I didn't have many people attend, it was on a short notice but I did have a few which I gave away 20k+. Although that was in late November and my brother helped me run this special event.
What will you do with the money?
What will I do with the money? I'm glad you asked. I plan on either getting water donation features to help my friends and maybe new users when they need it the most. Hopefully I can do this for free, but if/when I do not have enough money I'd like to keep the water placements as low as possible. I do in fact remember how it was to get started, once you get resources to make more EcoDollars it gets a little bit more fun, with a farm of any size available, it gives you a little bit more of a chance to rank up and achieve more goals. Well, my other plan was to get another town connected to my President town, hopefully for big projects, to inspire any anyone, and maybe include some others in it so they can work in a team and experience teamwork to the extreme!
Who else should win this besides yourself and why?:
This is a very hard question to be honest, It's been one of the hardest ones I've had to answer in any giveaway, so i couldn't possibly just name 1 or 2. Well here we go. I'll just name the first 3 that come to mind.

1) Falconaire ~ Oh where do I begin, well first of all Falcon has done 20 giveaways, which is insane and shows how much he enjoys ECC and the community, now these giveaways, they aren't as big as the heart that falconaire has for everyone on ECC, Past, Present, or future. I don't talk much to this user, but when I do I enjoy talking with him, He is one of the biggest impacts that ECC has ever had. I'm happy that he is on ECC and so dedicated. I love the dedication that this user shows to the ECC community.

2) _kiwi_cat_ ~ I've announced her name with pride several times, her positive attitude and dedication is one of the strongest thing I've ever seen in my entire life. And I've seen many, many people with positive attitudes and kiwi is one of the ones that seems to ALWAYS stick out to me. Shes never gotten angry (flipped out,raged,etc) at a user. She is one of the users I love talking to and hanging around with.

3) TheAngelEclipse ~ She is just another one of the people that has an amazing positive attitude that really, truly affects my time on ECC. She stands out a lot in a good way. Her humor, attitude, and her support for others really stands out in Global/local/VIP chat channels. I would like to see her stay around on ECC for longer than I will stay on. I want to see how many people she can help/support in her ECC time. She's already helped so many I can't count.

Why should you win the giveaway?:
After months of working to earn 137k, I decided to spend it on a feature from the ecc store. The person who said he was buying the feature never bought it like he had said. When I reported the President with complete evidence, he was banned and threatened andrew to try to get people the server if he didn't unban him. Because of this, andrew prevented him from appealing for at least a month, and he chose to leave ecc, which meant I would never get the money back.
More recently, the mayor of the abandoned town I lived in came back. One day he went into my house started going through all of my chests without asking while I was offline, and stole 30k worth of items in the only chest I had forgotten to lock. When I came back and found it was him by an investigator, he rubbed it in my face that stealing from an unlocked chest isn't illegal, and immediately kicked me from his town.
Since then I have been struggling to gain money back, and there aren't many people that I trust. It isn't mentally easy to keep playing an economy server when you have been taken advantage of so many times.
Because of these reasons I believe I should win this giveaway.

What have you done to positively affect ecc?:
Now that I think of it, it's actually pretty sad how little I have done to help the server. I guess I have been too focused on myself to worry about other people, which I hate to admit. But here's a few things I have done:

• I used to exchange gifts with a neighbor of mine, before he left ecc. We continually ramped up the value of the surprise gifts we left in chests in each others houses, until finally I gave him a free pumpkin axe, and he couldn't accept it, because it was worth too much.
• I always answer questions from newcomers whenever I can. I remember what it is like when you are new to the server, and nobody answers your questions, and I don't want people to leave ecc because of it.
• Whenever someone pays me too much or offers me something of a lot of value for free, I always pay them back some. I don't want money to be wasted on me, when I am capable to earn it myself.
• I'm helping Dr_Dragon_Slayer and DrCreeperSlayer make a 200x200 farm by placing a ton of dirt.
• When I team with anyone in Survival Games, I always split the money after the game. This and the last point can be seen in the thread Here
• I usually donate to people asking for donations if it is a good cause.

I will make sure I try to do more to help the server in the future.

What will you do with the money?
If I was selfish, I'll probably spend it on a survival games kit. However, if I do win, I will try my best to use the money in a better way, such as starting my own town to give new players a place to live, or help my friends the Dr's add to their own growing town.

Who else should win this besides yourself and why?:
I sincerely think that DrCreeperSlayer and Dr_Dragon_Slayer deserve this money more than any other, and this isn't because Dr_Dragon_Slayer put me in his application for this 175k giveaway. I had already decided to mention them before I found out.
After I was scammed, they immediately offered to give me a place to live in their town. Since then, we have become very good friends, and we benefit off of each other's time and money. There aren't any nicer people than these, and I trust them almost more than I trust myself. They definitely deserve to win this giveaway.

Why should you win the giveaway?: I should win the giveaway because I am the best. You gotta have confidence.
What have you done to positively affect ecc?: I fix peoples' tools. And I also built a cathedral and a kino der toten replica in my town. I am dedicated to preventing scams and making ecc more friendly.
What will you do with the money? Save it for a melon sword.
Who else should win this besides yourself and why?: o_Hades_o because he is so cool. Also very friendly and a positive member for the community. Although I should win because I am the best.

 

In Game Name: Doublution

Why should you win the giveaway? I feel like I am deserving of a prize because I'm relatively new to the server (I tried it for a couple days in late 2011, but not for more than a couple days) and want to get a jumpstart into the true economic aspect of ECC. There is a heavy, heavy learning and experience curve on this server, and I want to have, if possible, a quick road to get relatively high up.

What have you done to positively affect ECC? I definitely try to help new players when possible. My inexperience sometimes gets me into issues when trying to help people, however (recently, this includes a problem with not knowing what Investigator was), but it's always with the best intention.

What will you do with the money? It'll probably go towards donor perks or mayor and getting to mayor.

Who else should win this besides yourself and why? Cardinal3 or Chessgeek10. Cardinal co-runs a massive public farm that helped me very much on my road to resident. Chessgeek10 is helping out and is a resident in DrCreeperSlayer's town along with me, and he definitely deserves it after I read his story.
