    Okay, the mining world:
    I have been resident since November. I think the mining world needs a restart for specific reasons.
    1. The world is running out of ores
    2. The world is torn up with so many holes and mining
    3. So many problems with that causes people to go so far to mine, wasting precious time

    There are many more reasons that other people think too. But seriously, the mining world needs to be reset.

    That's what I mean. If you want to mine, instead of waiting for the mining world to regenerate, go ahead and mine in the main world.

    I wish there was a plugin for server operators to compare worlds and get statistics. Like, map the world upon generation and then check it later to calculate how many blocks have been altered. Personally I do not think that the Mining World needs to be reset. If such a tool existed, I bet it would show negligible changes such as 8% world modification.

    still tons of ore out there when i went mining today. set a home where you leave off mining so you don't have to walk from spawn to pick up where you left off.

    Why is it so hard to reset the mining? Does it cost extra bandwidth to the owner? I would have personally preferred a smaller world that resets weekly.

    Did anyone notice how diamonds went from $100 user-to-user value, and are now so paltry that the server will buy them from you for $15? Because of the increase in ores, and the blessings of a Fortune3 pick, there are many, many more diamonds than are being used, making them near worthless.

    If the mining world, and all its bounty, resets too much, then the prices of all materials capable of being mined will follow suit... I hardly think that is what you would want, assuming you do wish to make money from mining?

    andrew should turn off the selling of diamonds to the server, most people ask $100,- or more for a regular repair. For 75$ I can buy 3 new diamonds at some spawnshops or just by asking in trade. Miningworld doesn't need to be reset, I have a good house there which nobody found yet :p

    Sell hand on diamonds was just put there to take some diamonds out of the over saturated economy directly.

    The world is definitely not running out of ores. Think about how many blocks are in the 3000x3000 area the mining world got expanded too, there will still be loads out there.
