Why do you think you deserve the gift card?: For a couple reasons.

First reason; I have yet to donate to this server, and I am currently saving up money to take my relatives on a trip to Hawaii (shhhh). Secondly, I believe I deserve this because I am not going to use it right away- I am going to invest in that $10 and make it grow, make it worth more than just a mere ten dollars.

What puts you over other people for the gift card?: I believe that nothing much puts me above all the other applicants for the GiftCard, really. Everyone here has an equal chance at it. If I were to choose 1 thing, I would most likely choose my ability to not spend right when I get it. As I said- make it grow. I won't put it to waste, and when I do use it, it would be towards a mostly useful cause, I hope.

Why do you think you may not get it?: To be fair, I have never heard of you ingame. I would love to talk sometime, though, because you seem like a nice guy! :)

Will you sell this for in game money?: It would be impossible to do so, but no, I would not sell it for in-game money.

What puts you over other people for the gift card?:

When I first started on the server I met this girl called Kristen, who was the coolest chick you have ever met. She was a rare "girl gamer", perfect in every way, and the first and last person I have ever fallen in love with.

The very first time I met her was at spawn. I was hungry, naked and poor. Her kind heart found me, nearly collapsed from starvation, and she offered to give me food and a place to live. She took me to into her home and gave me a bed to sleep on. Her cooking was absolutely delicious, I finished her steak in seconds. I marveled at how perfect this girl was, but I also noticed that she seemed lonely for some strange reason. So in return for the help that she gave me, I decided to keep her company for a while. Minutes turned into hours, hours turned into days, and days turned into weeks. Her smile and her laugh charmed me to no end, I wished that she would forever remain this lovely.

One day, I saw a post on the forums about a giveaway. I decided to enter it in the hopes that if I won, I would be able to give the prize to her as a present in return for the things that she had done for me. I also made the decision to confess my feelings to her if I was lucky enough to win. If we were destined to be together then it must be so. I never could have dreamed about what would happen next.

The following morning I received a message telling me that I won the contest. I jumped out of my seat in sheer joy! It was as if fate was telling me that this was meant to be. I quickly sent her a mail telling her to meet me in front of the entrance to her town later that day. I spent the next 3 hours hiring people to help me remodel the entire entrance so that I could surprise her when she got on.

Her timing was perfect, just like she was. I had just finished sending the workers away and adding the finishing touches when she logged on. I had rehearsed this scenario in my head a million times over the past 3 hours. I was to go over to her in a very nonchalant manner and then ask her to accompany me to the garden while casually mentioning that I had just finished building it with my bare hands. There, embossed in large golden letters, would be the words 'Will you be my girlfriend?'. As fireworks began to light up the sky I would turn to her, crouch, and present to her the prize that I had won earlier from that contest.

The plan was perfect, but things just don't always go as planned. As I began to walk towards her, the nervousness crept over me like a winter night's chill. In an attempt to shake off the nerves, I unconsciously began to walk faster and faster, until eventually the walk had turned into a full-on sprint. Coming abruptly to a halt in front of her, I forced out the words between heavy breaths.

"-hah- Hey Kristen, -hah- let's go -hah- walk over there. -hah- I made that. -hah- Bare hands."

At first she was surprised, but then she giggled and nodded for me to lead the way. As we began to walk towards the garden I tried to calm myself in anticipation for what was to come. As I was lost in my thoughts, I almost stumbled on a small hole that one of my workers forgot to refill (THOSE INCOMPETENT FOOLS!). As I turned to see if she saw, I realized that we were almost there, when suddenly *Hssssss* *BOOM* a creeper suddenly exploded!

Barely containing my surprise, I glanced around to find where the explosion had came from. Huh, it seems like the creeper found my fireworks guy, the poor dude. Oh no, the fireworks! *Fweeeeeeeee POP* *Fweeeeeeeee POP POP* All of the fireworks had begun igniting one after the other! Then one of the fireworks shot up, and it was heading right towards Kristen. I grabbed her and pulled her out of the way. Because it was so sudden, she tripped and stumbled into me, and the both of us fell down together on the ground.

We both froze. Flustered, her face began to turn a beet red. However I froze because she just looked so lovely under the rampaging, but beautiful fireworks. My heart skipped a beat as I confessed to her right there and then. Her eyes widened, and then her face turned an even deeper shade of red. Time had frozen for me as I imagined dozens of different scenarios, but all of that stopped when she spoke her next words.

Yes.My heart leapt out of my chest. Oh my god I love this girl. I could hardly maintain my composure. Eventually, after I had calmed down a bit, my eyes met hers. Her lips trembled, and she beckoned me to come a little closer. As I leaned towards her, my heart pounding even faster now, she whispered the words "Can I borrow about tree fiddy?"

It was around this time that I realized that she was 8 stories tall and a crustacean from the paleolithic era. That damned monster had fooled me again! "Goddammit monstah! I ain't givin' you no tree fiddy!" I screamed.

Then the server went down for an automatic restart and after that she disappeared. I never saw nor heard from her ever again. But I'm sure she's still out there somewhere. That girl is never really gone, at least from my heart.

TL;DR Met this awesome girl while playing. Fell in love with her.

Oh yeah and to answer your question: because POE-TAE-TOES.

Why do you think you deserve the gift card?: I think I deserve the gift card because I am an honest player, and try to do my best to help the ECC community. I will use this gift card to help people get to my town, as I am currently saving up for TP.
What puts you over other people for the gift card?:Nothing, as I do not count myself in any way higher than any other player on ECC, since I do not know what that player may have gone through IRL , I do not count myself any higher.
Why do you think you may not get it?:Most likely because I chose nothing as the answer to what puts me over other people for the gift card, but what matters is that I did not lie in the answer, I answered honestly.
Will you sell this for in game money?: Of course not, this gift card will go toward my savings for TP.

I feel I deserve to win because I feel I put a lot of time and effort into helping this server run smoothly. However, there are many other people staff and non staff alike who do the same thing, so, that isn't necessarily the best argument to stand on.

What puts you over other people for the gift card?:You know who I am and interact with me on a semi-frequent basis.

Why do you think you may not get it?:I am someone who has already donated quite a bit, not sure if that matters to you, but eh.

Thank you to all applicants, this was a very hard decision and there were many apps some that had lots of effort and some that had slim to none, I reviewed all of them and one user stood out, and that’s revanrose6. For many of you that don’t know I feel as though i'm pretty good friends with her, well this is not why she won. Many of you say you do this and that although I believe you, revanrose6 is a supermod I myself see her working hard every day in game and on forums, normally when I log off at night, normally not at night but at 4 in the morning, I wake up around 10 and she is still on, even at 4 in the afternoon she is on, I believe she works really hard to moderate on ecc and help as many users as possible in every possible way and I believe she disserves this gift card for a number of reasons. Being a super moderator they do not get rewarded anything besides maybe getting promoted to admin. But this is a little gift to say thank you for what she has done. Enjoy.
