    Take a look at those with the most kits. Sure, quite a few play for money, but points as well. Take anyone with an SG medal, they care enough about points to have played enough to earn the medal(s). Many SG'ers/"Kitters" compete for the top spot, or top ten, or whatever. It's not just money for them, it's a competition, and a penalty like this is one they can seldom afford to take.

    I play for the points and the money. I really like that people get rewarded for doing well with the medals. I myself aspire to one day be at the top of the leaderboard with the diamond sg medal.

    Wait, since almost everyone on the server wants this, it should be at least 25% of the games are non-kit.

    This biggest issue I see arising is the fact that it is probably going to have to be instituted to:

    "If you leave at any time before the game ends, you are docked points"

    ONLY because there are going to be people who exploit loopholes and leave once that two minutes or whatever time limit is up, getting themselves out to a no kit game while preserving stats.

    I am also in agreement though that docking should be reduced to around 500-1000 points; something negligible yet not overly destructive.

    @nicit6 Most people (from what I have seen) bought kits to make earn money, not for the competition.

    As you saw from our lovely ZombieMuffin, 1/8 is bad enough for some people. 1/4 will cause more people to be angry

    On the contrary, people buy kits to compete. When you compete, you get money, and points. A large majority of the players who will be most frequently affected by this care about their stats just as much as their money.

    I want to play all the rank 50+ SGers without kits I think that would be really fun.

    Whether its 5000 points or 2000 points I still don't want to be punished for something I can't control.

    no that would be to much people lose the advantage they paided for and must stick with it because they cant afford to lose points

    Well, the server will die. People leave because of kits. As well, there is still a 75% chance of a kit arena. Therefore, no advantage is lost.

    Being a kit user, I actually very much like this idea! Adds a new challenge to the aspect of Survival Games. To be honest, Id love to do more non-kit games, as it is way more fun. I will not mind giving up my kits every once and a while.

    Wait after overlooking the docking of SG points, what will happen to the medals? I have the "Iron SG" medal. What happens if I drop below 75,000 points? That's the issue on the docking.

    I am sure that once you have reached the goal for a medal and have been awarded it, it is permanent and you just have to make sure to get back the points if you do lose some if you are in the waiting process for a medal.

    There is only one problem with this.... instead of saving for a melonsword or an eff7 pick, people have saved for sg kits as a way of making money. This would cause a lot ofbissues i totaklly agree on this but think kits are irreversable :/.

    Also after reading through a lot more of this thread i have seen people have dealt with thr issur of points. I personally frequently must leave sg to do something whether it be give something to some1 or anything. I suggest that you are not allowed to use kits iin any of he arenas until they have started. This means that if kitters are unwilling to play the no kit sgs, that they will find out after the game has started. This will force them to leave, or continue playing the sg. Leaving will not give them another win, just another game played which is bad in itself. That is because some people leave the arena because no one will vote, which has happened to me before. If there must be a docking of sg points, you must calculate if the person typed /sg leave, or judt like closed minecraft or their cpu. If it was not an /sg leave case, then they should not be docked. Thats what i think.

    As for the docking system, there is something I'd like to point out. I know that many users such as myself often join sg's and will vote only to see that the arena is full to newer players who aren't aware of the voting system. After saying "Please do /sg vote" a few times and seeing that the game isn't starting, I would leave. What would happen if you get into an arena like this and nobody votes and everyone else leaves? Are you able to leave then, or would your points get reduced still? There are many other occurrences that would make you want to leave other then just the no kit message.
