    @TheZombieMuffin things ARE going to change and nothing you can say will help.
    I'm sorry if I'm sounding rude... I'm not trying to but I just want to say that.

    Also, I've been thinking lately:

    Some people aren't allowed to donate because... They're only young and are not legally allowed to work for money. (That's me btw)
    Builders are leaving.
    The number of people joining ECC, in my perspective, is declining.
    Sg is one of the main ways of profit for new ECCers. Even builders who can donate don't know if they should.
    We need to start pinning the new players down, so that they will stay on ECC, start donating, and keep this server alive.

    So here is my new suggestion...

    We have one arena open, once every hour or so, that has no kits allowed in it. Maybe it could also be pointed out in some way, that it is a no kit arena. This might be able to cater to everyone's needs, builders to VIPS.
    Maybe there could also be a higher prize, as I said in an earlier post. That way people would be busting to join the arena, even people who do have kits.

    I like the idea of having less kit games, however, as I have seen said before, the best way to do it is not through a "lottery". The main reason I think we need to limit the amount of kits is because it affect builders. I have noticed that, unlike I have expected, there would be a lot of builders asking for plots. I tend to interact a lot with builders, and sell them a plot. Many of them say they SG for money, and they are the same ones I have to file LWC's for quickly after they join the server.

    We need to give these players a more feasible option to play with non-kitters. It's a total reach, I know. I know our server has a policy against these things. I've seen it get constantly denied, and we will never have an all no kit arena. However, kuke brings up good points, having a roulette isn't the best way to do this. We need a no kit arena so out server grows.

    Kits aren't helping, and I have officially decided to send andrewkm a PM to remove my kits completely. I paid for them. I am not asking for a refund. I just want to send a message that the best way for our server to grow, which starts from the roots with new players, is to let them have fun, and enhance their experience.

    Who would this be appealing to, though? What goal are we striving for by allowing for non-kit games to be possible? Are we trying to allow frequent SG'ers on ECC who don't have kits to be given a breather once in a while?

    Honestly, the biggest problems with kits in terms of their effects on ECC are how new users see them. With so many other servers out there that offer SG, new users without a care in the world for ECC's other features simply won't stick around any more than they already do just because once in a while, they don't have to deal with it. If they cared that much about the kits and didn't have an attachment to ECC's other features, they'd simply find somewhere else to play, where 100% of the time they know the rules of the game, and agree with them. I assure you, if I came here because I saw an advertisement for SG, I wouldn't be any more likely to stay because of that 1 in 8 chance than I would otherwise.

    On the other hand, we have people who already do care about ECC's other features, those who have stuck here a while, and some of them do like SG. But as some have already said, this causes other problems such as users leaving the match when they see a no-kit round, simply to get straight back to getting points in a new round. Since many players who play SG have kits, it'll just end up as a frustrating experience for both parties, where one gets severely gimped and the other doesn't even have players to fight anymore. Beyond that, even a good round of no-kit SG where nobody leaves and everyone tries to have a good time with it just feels extremely hollow when you lose: "I missed my opportunity to win because [insert insult directed at killer here, likely involving 'hacking'], now I have to wait for the next no kit round for a chance..." It would only re-enforce to non-kit users that they are "helpless" against those who have kits, farther frustrating them on deaths in no kit rounds (Their "only chance") and deaths involving kits. ("That wouldn't have happened if it was a non-kit round." The last thing that's needed is people becoming frustrated with kits to the point where they only play for the non-kit rounds - either downright leaving when kit enabled rounds show up, or sighing and playing anyway. The game isn't as fun when you have this bad taste in your mouth about it. This bad taste only gets worse when you offer them candy, tell them they "might" get it, and then don't give it to them.)

    If kits are ever to be disabled under any circumstance, the user in question should know about this fact ahead of time. Surprises only make it worse. I perfectly understand the problems with making one arena kit-free, but honestly, I cannot see this working out better in the long run than said other suggestion.

    kits are evil and always were bad for balanced pvp get rid of them for good and ill actually play HG and do PVP

    No I am aware of sg = pvp, his post is he will PVP again which is separate realm than sg. Maybe that is just how I am reading his statement, and he just means SG = PVP and not even remotely talking about our PVP world.

    yeah @HCPillarofFire I ment to say SG forgot PVP world existed but then again even then people with star armors and star items have more advantage in PVP granted killing them and selling armors would net a nice profit still advantage and i don't like people have a unfair advantage over others, but thats just me in general

    I understand where you are coming from, but overall that is just life. There will be those who have an advantage over others and that is not inherently bad either, but I respect your opinion.

    I like the first and third idea, but I think that if there was an arena with no kits, most non kit users would play there.

    Ok, so I've read the 5 pages of thoughts about 1/8 chance of 0 kits arena. AND I think it's an ish idea.
    ISH = 50/50

    Ideas:

    1. Hve 4/8 arenas 0 kits.

    2. OPEN up the Legacy SG, so the Legacy SG arena place can be the No Kit arenas!

    3. Hve 50/50 chance of kit or no kit arenas whn the game starts, and Alert the Kit people!

    AND 4: Somehow sort of limit the people who have kits to Not Hve kits in some arena battles

    and finally! 5: At a certain time in the game, Hve the people who Hve kits like their kits are disabled for a certain amount of time. Example: In Death Round, the kit people are alerted really quickly tht their kits are taken away for death round, and they fight norm. Against other people!

    I would only play if there was there was 1. no kits or 2. Everone was giving the same access to the same kits.

    1. Can you make one SG no kits? or does this have to effect all the SG equally.

    2. If ever one was giving access to all the kits, you could make the cooldown for non donators much longer - Like each kit could be used once a day. And by buying the sg perk/donation the cool down of the kits would be normal.

    To answer your question, it can be done separately per arena.

    Also, I love that idea. It gives people a taste of the kits without harming the already established kit users and the donations.
