Who deletes old versions of their software, thus breaking my wonderful setup... ._. I have adjusted the step to work for a while, no matter how many updates appear. I'm sorry, I don't understand the purpose of that. Why would you like a .zip file that contains a .litemod file when you can download the required .litemod file itself? It basically saves you the hassle of extracting the .litemod file from a .zip archive.
Steps should be the same for Linux/OSX btw 314. If someone tries them and they don't work, I can probably help for Linux, maybe OS X dunno.
This is basically the only step that only works on Windows. I simply haven't found the time yet to test with Linux, and I don't have access to Mac OS.
What does that step do? One step you need to do on Linux is to apply the "executable" flag to the liteloader .jar file before running it
It opens your mods folder where you need to place the .litemod file. I need to find out what the Linux/Mac path equivalent is. You are telling this to the one who uses the command line for java of any kind.
314, TeamViewer is a remote desktop solution - where other people can control your computers if you give them a code for it. It is widely used in business solutions where IT managerial teams have to manage 100+ computers, so that they don't have to go round to every one. I know because we use it in my school.
I have the liteloader as well as the litemod in my 1.10 folder, but when I launch mc with them, only the liteloader 1.10 comes up.
Which type of installation did you use - Forge with extracted liteloader.jar or pure liteloader installer?
To be honest, I'm not sure what could cause the problem. As long as both the extracted liteloader.jar and the macro.litemod file are in the 1.10 folder, it should work. Is there an extendable GUI at the top right of the main menu screen? If yes, does it list the macro mod? Which forge build do you use? I tested with 2000, some may cause problems. I'm not sure what you mean.
