It is the macro mod file. The filetype is a .litemod. There is a different way to combine them, I'll update my tutorial with them soon.
@314 I figured it out. The download for the macro mod is a zip file, not a .litemod . I found a download for the macro.litemod file online and now it works good.
I'd really like to set up the trade macro and minimap, but computers don't like me, can you talk me through tomorrow? i need sleep.
Hey, sorry if this is a necro but. Okay, I clicked the 1st link (in the required portion) and but I can't find the download option on that page? Do you know where I should click on that page to down load it? Edit: also, are these downloads legal here on ecc?
Either the .exe if on windows or the .jar if any other OS. (Last stable artifacts) The download link in the "Required" is for the 1.8 beta though...? Also, as additional information: It needs exactly MC version 1.8, no newer version.
It's basically the same instructions for Mac. When downloading Liteloader, get the Jar file instead of the EXE. The rest (besides Forge and the Minimap, though that should be the same too) is the same process. To find your .minecraft folder, you open finder and press Go > Go to folder from the dropdown list on the taskbar on the top. Then, go to ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft (include the "~"!).
Hey, I don't know if you're still alive or not but, I've come from a place far far away to ask you this question. How the hell do I drag a file that my computer doesn't recognize in to the mods folder. I can't download the .litemod if my computer doesn't know what it is.
You don't install those files. You just put the files in your mods folder and run your liteloader client.
But... I can't even get those files on to my computer to the point where I can drag them around. Before the download even finishes, the window pops up that says Windows doesn't recognize the file type and then it doesn't compelte
You aren't supposed to run the file or open it. You're just supposed to open the place where the file is, and copy the file and paste it in your mods folder - Or use the drag and drop technique.
The (1.9.4) macromod link seems to be broken [EDIT] I found the problem: it seems the filename has been slightly changed, probably because a new 1.9.4 version has been released since your update and the "old" 1.9.4 version has been purged. Just change: http://eq2.co.uk/minecraft/mods/mod_macros_0.12.1_for_1.9.4.litemod into: http://eq2.co.uk/minecraft/mods/mod_macros_0.12.2_for_1.9.4.litemod
@314 I suggest to change the link of the planet minecraft and not minecraft forum because minecraft forum download of 1.9.4 is .zip planet minecraft i .litemod EDIT: Oh no it seems that is only 1.7.10
