10 Years ago today I signed up for this account on the forums. I have been a part of this community for 38% of my entire life. When I first joined the community I was a 16 year old sophomore in high school, now I am 26 with a masters degree and my own job/car/apartment. I have had so much fun with you all, building towns, smashing melons, battling it out in sg, competing in fun events and more. I am very appreciative to all of you I have shared this community with and who have helped me along the way. ECC has given me a lot, and now to celebrate my 10th anniversary, I want to give back.
At my town of /warp endor, I have placed a password locked chest and filled it with 10 prizes with a theme of 10:
1.10 stacks of diamond blocks (thats 640 diamond blocks!)
2.10 stacks of emerald blocks (thats 640 emerald blocks!)
3.10 jigsaws (thats 640 nstars!)
4.10x10 = 100 events raffle tickets
5.1 god drop
6.125 crate keys (including 64 spawner keys/40 egg keys/21 mojang keys)
7.2 x 10 = 20 USD gift card
8.10 magic eggs
9.10 event items from my favorite events
10. 145k ECD (event arrows)

Based on prices I have seen in chest shops and on the forums, I estimate the total value of these prizes at 7.5 million ECD

Want to claim all this loot for yourself? You need to get the password by completing a little scavenger hunt I have set up in the ARCHIVE server. I have hidden 10 signs, each of which has a letter and "Herring 10th anniversary" on it. The 10 letters are a random sequence which I used as the password for the chest.

Sign 1: We start at my very first home on ECC! It is located at /warp awesomeburg. There is a sign on the house with my username. A hint: it is near a large red barn. The sign may be inside or outside or on any floor

Sign 2: Next my second home on the server. Go to /warp bunschoten. Once again it'll have my username on it. Hint: Look for the dutch flag. It'll be very near by. The sign may be inside or outside or on any floor

Sign 3: /warp southernhill. This is the second town I ever owned. I created it to be able to provide a town portal (many years ago now when that was a thing) for my near by town. Hint, you don't need to move from the warp to find it.

Sign 4/5: The first town I ever owned on ECC. Follow the partial bridge from the train station across to the town of Slayhill. I aquired the town in a swap for placement of my mayor town, elaren_plaza. I built some houses, a barn and a farm, but never fully finished it out prior to the reset. To narrow things down, I'll tell you one sign is in the barn and the other is somewhere in the town square/fountain area where you first arrive to the town.

Sign 6/7: I co owned and helped build the town of /warp La_Ciudad. We had skyscrapers, houses, arenas and more. To narrow down, I placed one sign in the apartment building to the right of where you warp in. The other is within the arena area.

Sign 8: After many years of admiring this build, I was finally able to claim this amazing build as my very own by purchasing another players town claim. Unfortunately, I never made a warp. So to get there go to /warp epigraph. From the warp go left, then the first right. Go all the way down to the end of the path and through the arch. Drop off the ledge. From there, navigate carefully along the wall with the flame on top until you reach a gap in the wall at -1051 -7584. Carefully jump the gap and walk across the bridge into town. I apologize for the hazardous journey but server policy restricts my ability to set a warp of improve the path outside my town. If you have patron, simply warp to -1107 -7686. Inside the build there are stairs and a ladder you can take to the very top of the build, where the sign is. I used this build as my vault for a long time. Its perfect as its bigger on the inside.

Sign 9: After the rising map was introduced in 2014, I wanted to buy a house in that world. I did so in the bustling town of /warp lancaster. Go straight a head from the warp and look for a red cross.

Sign 10: My old storage unit at /warp aquarising1. From the warp go straight ahead and then turn right. Find core 10b.

Now that you have all 10 letters, go to /m and /warp endor and use put them in the order you found them in as the password for the prize chest to claim the prizes! I would love the winner to let me know when they claim the prize so I know who it is.

But wait, there's more!
After the grand prize is claimed, the next ten finishers who pm me the correct password will receive 100k ECD each. Thats one million ecd prize pool total.

I have no way of enforcing this, but I ask you please do not share the password or any letters with others.

I hope you enjoy this hunt and it works well, I've never done something like this before. Let me know if there are any issues.

In conclusion thank you all for an amazing 10 years. ECC and the community mean the world to me.
