    Every 3-5 minutes my fps drops to 1-5 for 20 seconds and then goes back to normal. I have nothing else open on my laptop, not in full screen, my settings are as low as possible and I am farming pumpkins. Is there something I should be doing to help this?

    What is your regular FPS?
    Does this only happen when you're farming?
    Did this happen before 1.6?
    Did you have optifine before 1.6? If so, did it stop the lag?

    -Regular FPS 100+
    -yes only when farming nd only at a 200x200 farm where i have perms
    -has never happened until update
    -I did not have optifine before

    I have this same problem when walking around my house, at spawn or farming it only last for 10 seconds but it's like lag spikes, I uploaded a bug report in sg. If you walk through the spot in sg where I said on my post then you will see what it's like. I normally run at 140 fps.
