Personally, I did small jobs and bought a pumpkin axe and perms to a pumpkin farm. Then, farmed my way to the money.
I have to say I don't think the price should change. 85k isn't hard to make, and I've even seen people donate that much to people for mayor.
Farms are the reason we don't have them (as well as lag) ECC doesn't want people to make money by clicking a button every couple of hours.
