What GPU are you using? Side note: I had NVIDIA GeForce 610M 2GB DDR3 in my laptop.
Wrong, using shaders will consequently result to huge FPS drops while playing Minecraft.

The most striking event I had recently done in Minecraft is that I got 230 FPS with OptiFine (2 chunks distance), does that sound weird?
