You getting the latest version? If so SSD makes things quicker but also lacks in space for your price. As far as most things though, it isnt much difference from a high spec PC, i have had 2 macbooks, one pro and 1 air. both pretty lightweight, quick, and games are becoming pretty widespread. If your interested in doing editing and what not then that also a great plus
My fav bit from a minecraft point of view is you dont need any additional software to screen record. Quicktime includes this for mac users for free :D
If you get one your certainly wont regret it.
If all you care about is Minecraft running fine this is the most overpriced sub-bar Minecraft computer you could ever even consider. If you want a laptop that can play minecraft at 60fps, there are a million laptops cheaper than the MacBook that can do it.
If all you care about is Minecraft and like using Google Docs or something then do not get a MacBook Pro. They're overpriced as they are, and they are sub-par gaming machines at best. You'd be wasting a lot of money.
The cheapest MacBook Pro I could find with a 15 seconds search was ~1700€, I'm currently preparing to build a high-performance PC for *half* of that price.
Zev, you mean the product where apple copied Microsoft's 7-8-10 numbering and skipped nine, yet set its price to nine-nine-nine-point-nine-nine USD? :P
Building PCs is so amazing. I absolutely adore the PC I built, not only is a beast that runs everything I want it to flawlessly, it also barely needs any repairs and I have had it for 4 years.
