:P You gotta be careful which Forge download button you click. Especially on the ad website where you have to wait before downloading. It's simple to uninstall, simply open "Uninstall/Change programs" or something like that and find the latest programs installed and uninstall them if they look fishy.
Thanks for the replies. Though deciding to install it when I have been awake for 24+ hours straight probably was not the best idea. I'll look at there though for anything I might have missed when I was trying to uninstall all the programs earlier.
Okay, after going though my "Programs and features" and having it sorted to today only, found 2 more programs I did not know about. Yet, on the other hand, I found 3 programs I installed months ago yet they said they where installed today. Guess I am going to have to go though all of them.
Okay, just in case anyone is wondering, I seem to have gotten everything off of my computer, but for some reason one of my browsers (Internet Explorer) keeps popping up with random sites. (On once after I start up my computer, and I have 2 more, second one about 30 mins after start up and the third one about an hour after start up.) Hope I can find a way to stop this.
Do you have Norton? That should help. And once again, look closely in the Programs area in Control Panel. All programs, related to ads or not, must register there. Also, try restarting. You may have already removed it and it needs a restart to take effect.
Not sure what Norton is, so I am going to guess that I don't have it. Also I'll take another look at the Programs. (Though I did google it a few hours ago and most places I look were basically saying it is Malware.) Also thanks for the help with all of this.
Yeah, but even Malware has to register. Otherwise, it would be illegal. I'm sure they'd rather do it legally with the same result be registering it as a valid program.
I just went thought the programs and only found one program that I missed. I hope that removes it. Also, (and I hope this does not sound rude, I know you are trying to help.)... (Continued in the next comment.)
but no matter what I found on google, all malware (again, only from what I found, not sure about all of them.) do not show up and could only be removed though specific programs. Going to restart my computer now and see if the one program I removed was it though.
Okay, (Good news alert.) as said above, I just restated, nothing happened , so I did a few mins of web browsing, (that was what seemed to help trigger it in the past, still nothing. So it seems like that last program was the problem. *Keeps fingers crossed that it is fixed* Thank you for your help @ScarabCoder and thank you for tagging him @BuildsByGideon
That would make seance, and thinking about it now, I don't know why but I was expecting it to be named something like "<Insert name here> Malware". (That was highly illogical thinking of me.)
