sockpuppeting is simply using another account. There's nothing illegal about that.

what controversies? It's literally just taking on an alternate identity. Technically I have a bunch of "sockpuppets" on ECC. They're alternate accounts. They're allowed on ECC (with some limits imposed on them).

It only includes people who CRACK into the server. Hacking isn't a vpn, or bypassing a ban. It's literally forcing your way into the backend of the server. You can't do that by circumventing an IP-ban, or using proxies.

What do you mean "crack", meaning to use non-premium account to get to the server by illegal means (DDOS, terrorism, and the like)?

cracking as in cracking open. gaining access to things you shouldn't have access to through exploitative means.
