Hey guys! I wanted to post a forum page today about dreams and what they do to people. Im going to be relating it to real life, as well as AEM. Of course all feed back is appreciated, and also feedback on another topic that you want me to talk about . Anyways, lets get started. First, I wanted to talk about why people dream. When I say "dream", I am not talking about going to bed and sleeping, I am talking about the thoughts of wanting something, worrying about something, foreshadowing something, ect... The main reason that people dream is because they want something or want something to change or have something changed in their life/ the world around them. This can be both positive and negative. Dreams could lead to demise and destruction, and on the other hand lead to expansion and prosperity. The greatest example of this is Martin Luther King Jr. He saw the need for change, and he went through with it with his famous dream speech. Along with that, a man who had a dream of stopping him went through with his dream and assassinated MLKJ. So now we can ask the question " What do dreams do to people"? Dreams bring out the bad and the good inside of people. The thought of reaching the top and gaining power could be reached through hard work? Anger and demise? Depending on the situation, destruction could be created or destroyed. Now of course this relates to AEM. There are players who want to prosper throughout the server and become "popular". This can only be reached by either A. Hard work and dedication B. Pushy/ bossiness or C. Being nice/kind to players. Now on AEM what is usually the case? Personally, I want to say 50% B, 25% A and 25% C. I have seen players not only be a control freak with power, but also become so overwhelmed with power that they feel the need to almost explode (metaphorically) and share their unfair ways. On the other hand, I see players who are always helpful and are kind to new/old players. And to those players, I salute you . Before I end off this forum post, I wrote a poem that I want you guys to read. Once again, all feedback is appreciated and also feedback on another topic for another post would be appreciated as well. Thanks What Dreams Are About As the shining eyes of the newly dawned night, Opens to show the moon so bright. The time has come for all to rest, To dream, to sleep, to do what sloths do best. A dream to live, a dream to play, A dream to prosper, to know, to stay. A dream is a dream, no less, no more, A thought of peace like resting by the beach shore. But dreams do not last forever, They come, they go, they are very clever. No one can know how your dreams come about, Except for when words allow them to be brought out. As the night ends and all is over, How lucky you are like a four leaf clover. Thoughts and processes are nature no doubt, But who will ever know what dreams are about?
