Hey guys. I wanted to post another forum today to talk about something a little more serious. I am going to be talking a little bit about myself and the things that I see and talking about some of the things that others can do to make a difference. Of course, all comments and thoughts are appreciated! Also, please do not start to argue on this thread... I hope for it to stay unlocked for a long time to have people who really want to talk be able to talk. Anyways, lets start. Hello, my name is Evan and I live in the US. I make Minecraft Youtube videos, mostly involving PvP and Survival aspects of Minecraft. I am 15 years old. Sounds good so far? Sure why not. Now, lets talk about what is really going on. I have been playing on AEM servers for about a year now (Just Guestimating). I can honestly say that I have never been so impacted by a minecraft server/ group of people before in my life. I have been through good times, bad times, depressing times, and exciting times. Now, why does this make me so special that I am writing about it in a forum post on a website that talks about a minecraft server? Because I am the only one that would. I do not understand what the deal is with people not wanting to share their experiences with a group that can act like family. I can honestly say that these posts are almost therapeutic to me, and help me get things off of my mind. All that I want to say is that people have a voice. I want to challenge you to write a forum post that shows who YOU REALLY ARE! It does not have to be as long as my posts are, but just an introduction to your life that people can see the real you. Before I end this off, I wanted to share a quick poem with you guys that I just wrote. It really helped my get a TON off of my back and I hope that it really shows who I am. It is called funny isnt it. Why does one do while others dont, while another does and another does not. Family, friends, pals and neighbors, all relying on each other for shoulders. but when it comes time for the test, they dont show, just like the rest. All that I can say is words, Which flys off of people just like birds. Everytime that a task is asked, a shimmering "no" is all that is passed. One man walks while another man rides, one kid laughs and another kid cries. Who can relate to this horrible mess? It is me, I can not act like the rest. All that I ask is for one little chance, to prove that I can do like the rest. Every time that I mess up one thing, It is a volcanic devistation that stings like a bee. Now, who will give that heart to fill? Of course, no one will. I hope that you all enjoyed this post, and again, all comments and thoughts are appreciated! Thanks
You are very true i know for a fact i wouldent be playing minecraft at all if it wasent for aem there is your own family then there is us the AEM family,i have been helped from people here and had fun evrysingle time alse sence i met you and haildamage if it wasent for you guys i wouldent b on aem anymore <3
That means a lot, and i know how you feel. When cookie and nick said they were stepping down I expected to never talk to or see them them again and it was on my mind for the couple hours i was playing after that. We all are pretty close for a server and each person means something and has some sort of impact to everyone else and the server as a whole.
