Title says it all. Just wondering if this is being worked on because my beautiful smoothstone gen just sits idle now. Can't mine without weird lag on certain blocks.

If it lags into invisible blocks, you can leave and join again and the blocks will be visible. This mainly happens with pickaxes that have efficiency on them.

Not sure what you mean by invisible blocks. When I mine the stone, sometimes my pick will get stuck on a particular block and I will have to walk around to another side of that block to mine it.

Thats basically what it is. Try making your render distance shorter or get optifine. Both of those should help. Let me know if you have any problems with that

Also are you using an enchanted pickaxe? And if you are does it have efficiency?

Aww, I liked my instant mining setup though...

So should I just take off haste 2 until further notice?

So I just changed my beacon over to haste 1 which fixes the first problem of getting stuck, but now everytime I mine smoothstone I get a moment where my game freezes. It's like a really bad stop motion film.

That problem is your computer. It will naturally lag if that many blocks break at once. Try turning down your settings or try out the optifine mod

I have optifine and I been able to mine without this lag before, but one day it lagged and has been lagging ever since.

Same issue. Before the last nether/end reset I was able to mine my amazing stone genie with Haste 2, Eff 5 no prob. Now I can't do it at all. There are lag issues in Skyblock right now, but they are being worked on by the new developers. The devs have lots of projects on their plates though so we'll have to be patient a little longer. I just switched back to my older, smaller stone genie for the time being. :)
