I think it would be cool for AEM to have titles for actives. Not ranks, titles. like before their name it could say something like this: ACTIVE-[skylord] _D_J: hey guys how do you make a crafting table? im not a noob :O an active rank could require like 1 week of gameplay or something like that. there could also be like semi-active or _D_J-active ;D or in-active or pro-active etc. maybe you could get a prize for getting one of the titles. like challenges Also maybe ranks should be taken away if you don't play for a certain period of time. I reallllllllly like this idea it sounds like it would be a ton of fun to try to get cool new titles
Don't get me wrong, this does sound pretty cool, but personally, I feel things are just fine the way they are now. Maybe this is just me, but I feel having too many tags/colors in chat gets really confusing and a little spam-ish, especially for new members. Also, I don't really see a need for showing off how long you've been online or whatever, you can just ask the member or maybe instead have a suggestion of a command where you can do /ar check or something similar.
I personally don't want to see this implemented because: 1. I'm selfish. I want my chat (relatively) clean, so the fewer titles hanging from names, the cleaner the chat. With all the arguments and general confusion on chat, having titles would only add to the chaos that flickers on my screen.
I would have to agree, the chat does seem to be plenty cluttered already. I wonder if having an extra title would limit the number of characters you can type even more? It takes multiple msgs to convey a detailed conversation as it is. Just my 2 cents.
