I know there are some people who are bummed out by the Survival World reset but, I think it's totally fine. From a former server owner's perspective it is easier for me to understand the reset, the complaint I usually hear about it resetting is that they will loose all their builds but think about it before you complain people! Minecraft is about getting creative! Once it reset you can improve on your old builds or redesign them! There will be more space to build and yes there is a world border in Minecraft so it's not an endless world. Just think before you complain please, also it's fun restarting from scratch everyone once in a while isn't it? The current Survival World hasn't been reset for SOOOOOOO long, plus the reset will allow the server to go full 1.8!
Pretty much for me too. I am sad to lose my build and stuff I was collecting to open a shop. But I do look forward to working with other players after any reset. Probably will go ahead and donate with a fresh start too.
yeah, same, I had a server. I won't play again until reset because it seems pointless. I just want the reset to happen now so its out of the way. bummed to lose all my stacks of diamonds etc but it has to happen I suppose.
My only complaint is not knowing when it happens. Kinda puts off wanting to do anything when it could be a week, or could be months.
Exactly. That's why survival is kinda empty. I'm one of those people not getting on because of no motivation of knowing when there will be a reset
Yah, I switched to spaceblock until survival would be reset... but spaceblock was removed so now i'm just watching the forums until survival is reset.
Yeah, I hear you on that. Been checking the forums daily for the reset. Hopefully it doesn't take longer than a couple more weeks, really getting anxious and excited to be able to start a new town.
