Staff Application Age Limit

There's a reason why the owners set the helper at 15+. There are several people who would abuse the position and/or make AEM look bad. A rank next to your name doesn't prevent you from helping people. You can still help others and if you do apply for helper, staff will be more likely to give it to you if people on Towny give positive testimony.

Also, please don't advertise other servers on here.

 

Yes, we do have the age requirements for reasons. Imagine something were to happen regarding the server and have to go to court to give out testimonies, what would the impression be like having 13 year old coming and stuff? Also there are other reasons for it so do try to understand as mature players

 

we have had some younger people, but in the end they wernt mature enough and didnt know some innapropiate things, which in return caused mayhem between players, also younger people dont think their actions through this is a crucial part in being staff, every action you make has a counteraction. solving counteractions takes some crucial thinking, also something which is developed at a later age. Thus why we have a higher age limit

 

Even though some staff is underage of that ;3

 

Also just because you are a certain age doesn't mean you'll get a staff position... Don't be waiting for your 15th birthday with the mentality of
"yay ill get staff now"

 

staff is picked on how they can perform under pressure, if they help people, knowledge and some other points

Personally I have thought much about this. I do think I am mature, but not enough. I need to work on my anger, once that is solved I think I would be fit for the job, although its up to the awesome admins.

 

Maturity doesn't develop in most people until those ages listed. That's the reasoning behind it. Can people 13 be staff, sure. But are most 13 year olds that you come across mature, I don't think so. I'm apart of a staff team on a different server and we have had some young staff, and we also current have a 13 year old mod, but shes very mature for her age.

As said on other forums, to file a staff application, make sure you meet the requirements. Go to (Top Bar)Applications > Staff Applications. Fill out the form. Or, if you are signed in, go on (Top Bar)Staff Applications

 

You wish you could be as mature as i am. I feel old cuz i left coffee in the microwave and when i got home i found it so i may be turning into my dad.
