Have been A-wall for about a year and 1/2 and just got in today, privy to a quickie a few months back. Anyhow noticed my town is not my town anymore, all knowing since prob ran out of funds in bank to pay dues, but that is not the issue I write today. The issue is locked chests in a home in said town. Yes they are mine, and yes I locked them when it was my town, and now can't get into them. It notes "magic spell" on them as if someone else locked them, "which cannot be the case" since they are mine and I locked them 110% certain of this. Noted this to an admin back when had my quickie as mentioned above, but he/she could not tell what had happen and directed me to wait for owners to appear. Well push came to shove and was again out of commission to play so never got to it. Well now thought maybe post here, wait and hope Alex or Ethan can tell me what can do. Many chests, valuables of many, least to me anyway.... Thx
To check the chest protection and owners type /cinfo I can help you move the other players stuff out, but I want to talk to them as to who they asked for permission to take over the builds. I was told nice builds or builds that have locked items inside = not allowed to talk over. So I am curious as well. Again, sorry for the inconvenience. I will get back to you soon.
Thx for info on 1.8 update, very helpful to know. On the chest issue not sure if clear on what is/was ok and is/isn't ok. On the one hand with regard to my personal loss, a heather girl was not only given perm... to take over my build but actually was given all (a ton) of my chests (which were full of months of gathering/purchases). Who or how they were unlocked is unknown to me, and she has them all locked for herself now. How much of my stuff that was in them, having been removed is also unclear. On the other hand we have a player who (as have been told by mod) that has been offline since June that left behind a ton of chests in one of my first builds. The issue here is that I gave these to him to run the town shop, he locked all of them but never set the shop signs back up. Would like these either removed or unlocked. Prefer that they get unlocked since if he returns can just have a talk with him and/or just hand them back over if need be, plus can set shop back up and running for players to have purchase area if needed. Can always hand the shop back to him if/when he plays again. Anyhow await answers, and we shall see you online soon hopefully... Peace
