Yesterday, I messed up, and got banned, why you ask? Because there was a glitch, in the midst of people watching YT vids, streaming videos and being on internet in general in my house, I continually kept getting kicked. No big deal right? Wrong. It just so happened that on that day there was a glitch in Votifier or something and whenever I logged in with enough slots in my inventory, I would get a tonne of voting awards. Originally I thought nothing of it, thinking it was from an event or something, but like I said, whenever I disconnected from the server and came back on to try and finish our new factions base, I dumped all of the stuff I got into a fountain but people kept jumping in to get it. Eventually I opened the crates with a full inv and then dropped everything I had that I got unfairly right before ClearLag. Sure, some stuff had to be picked up but I tried ok? Now, I then said in the chat that I had an issue with this glitch after 10 minutes or so of failing to delete the rewards, hoping it'll be fixed. I tried everything, changing MC version, logging out and back in, everything. Now, tanksdead got Jerekul on SkyGrid and according to dragon, he logged immediately after. It was at this time people began saying I was going to get banned. I then filled my inv with obby and did nothing but build my base for the remainder of this time I had left on AEM. I wanted my fac to atleast have something to remember me by. I then watched some YT videos and got disconnected for AFKing, when I came, back I saw that I had been banned. I would of thought that maybe that they considered the fact I had donated twice to the server when judging weather to ban me or not. Just take the stuff away? This was an issue only I had, only my account. I logged in with my alt and no vote keys. I also helped promote the server after it reset. But luckily I thought ahead, what your reading now is almost a word for word transcription of a book that is floating around factions right now, as we speak. It's called read me, it's my statement about what happened. I thought that someone would give that book to whoever was going to ban me. But no. Anyway I just wanted to post it on the fourms, so more than one person can see it at a time. That's all I have to say. You were banned because you had willingly logged into the server and abused this glitch and knowing that you were doing wrong gave items/money and other things away to players.
Ranks do not protect people from being banned. I will miss u but try and make a appeal or buy a unban pass.
As Old_Mc_Donald said ranks don't protect the fact that you're breaking the rules. You were banned for abusing a glitch also the "Are you glad to see me banned" is pointless. I would remove it if I were in your position.
Just to reiterate what has already been said by JagzZ and Old_Mc_Donald; We enforce the rules on the servers the same for everyone. If you have donated for example $500+ to the server and you are found exploiting bugs, hacking, etc.. on the server you will be banned as would any normal player that didn't put any money into AEM. I also feel i should note though the fact that you passed around a book with your story prior to being banned from the server kind of reinforces the fact that you knew very well what you were doing was wrong.
About the book, I only made that 5 minutes before I logged off, I paniced when I was told that I was most likely going to be banned. Also, if I get into the top voters this month, will I be able to buy an unban pass?
