I believe that if you remove iron ore from the Monsterslayer challenge and add 1-2 lapis instead, this will be the greatest way to acquire the materials needed for enchanting. Currently there are six ways to acquire iron ore through mid-level challenges and their repeatable quest-lines. Through the Homeowner Challenge, which is not repeatable, you can get 10 lapis blocks. This is great until you either run out or lose it some how.(i.e Clearlag mod/plugin.....) The only thing that makes sense to me would be to add small amounts of lapis to the Monsterslayer repeatable due to these facts: You gain levels by killing your mobs in the droppers, You gain levels by doing your challenges, in which Monsterslayer is one, and lastly, you need weapons/tools to slay said mobs. I'm sure that you, as in the staff, are aware of the lapis problem and are currently trying to come up with the best way to implement lapis in a way that keeps the server pace and economy balanced. I just thought I would share an idea on the subject.
Apparently, they are looking into adding a new challenge of which lapis is the reward. I'm not too sure though
I agree with your thread. There are quite a few challenges that reward iron ingots that can be rendered useless by challenges that reward diamonds. By adding the lapis pieces to a challenge it will greatly help out players especially members who don't get kits every week.
