I found a glitch while trying desperately to get out of a game before I got killed by the zombies. I was in the bed and typed /hub and came back on the server and all my stuff was still there. That was when I had leathers on though so it didn't really help. I killed myself with those leathers on and tried again and sure enough, it worked. I suppose you could set a /hub delay or make it not possible to perform unless your in a lobby and not in game.
