    Hello all,
In skygrid recently I came up with a strange bug in my Island..
I have a decent amount of hoppers working at the same time (around 100), sometimes some stop working for an unknown reason. These hoppers are connected to grinders so when I am near they always work.
The only way to fix this manually is to remove and replace the hopper, but since I have around a 100 hoppers, it becomes pretty hard to replace them all.
Thank you for all your wonderful work you are doing admin/founders

May I recommend water streams to carry items?

What about clear lag? 100block long water streams take a while and clear lag will at least take a stack.
I have maybe encountered a similar bug on survival I set up a hopper train and for about 10 minutes they just stoped working...

This is why you take advantage of ice water streams.

Additionally, OP mentioned that the hoppers are connected to grinders. Loss from ClearLag is irrelevant if you have a great amount of items flowing.

Even ice water streams lose stuff to clear lag. Why would it be irrelevant?

I'm not quite sure you got the second part of the sentence...
If a farm has a great output, it shouldn't be a problem to lose some items every 10 mins due to CL.

Additionally, I don't see why you are trying to argue either... I'm only suggesting an alternative solution to the problem. It clearly has its flaws with ClearLag. However, attempting to point out every single one and not applying your own solution adds absolutely nothing to the conversation.

If you have any better ideas, then post it. Stop trying to shut others down.
