Hey, I have not been off skygrid for a while, but I got on today when I found out that I cannot interact with any of my blocks. I quickly found out that my sponge has been taken somehow. My first and main sponge has 2 cow spawners, 1 skelly, 1 blaze, 1 sheep, and 1 villager that are in its range. Then my second one is where I have created my iron golum spawner. I have created a floor across both sponges, have a lev 30 enchanting table (but the table has been moved outside the book/iron house I made for it), lost a beacon with a single level of iron blocks, and have spend numerous hours just doodling around making stuff on the server. I would really like to get my sponges back, I feel that I can easily recover the beacon and iron that I have lost. (Assuming that this enderman22 character has not looted all my chests.) My first sponge is at 4824.5 81 656.5 and my second sponge is at 4884.5 73 664.5 if you tp to 4812.5 85 623 and face south (positive Z), you can see a sign that I placed while I was in ownership that has my name FlintonSteel with an s, then if you walk back you will walk into another sponge owned my Zyclone28. I am added to that sponge because he started playing and I let him start next to me, but he stopped after a day and I decided not to let people start by me. If you want more proof feel free to ask, and I will do my best to prove to you that I did own that area.
I had the same problem. I hadn't been on in a while and my base was taken. Someone had removed my sponge and replaced it with theirs. I didn't know how this was possible, but one of the staff members told me there was a sponge reset in September. If your sponge hadn't been replaced since then then it isn't active and isn't protecting your area. While my sponge was inactive someone had removed it and placed theirs. One of the staff members removed his sponge for me and I have reclaimed my base. Some of my stuff was taken, but I have replaced some of it. If you have been off for a while then it is possible that your sponge was inactive due to the reset and someone placed their sponge in your base because it was unprotected. I would suggest contacting a staff member about this.
this problem is persisisting requesting skygrid staff to deal with it @HedgeTheHog @Snowball731 @zRinne @Jerekul
This player has been inactive, we have couldn't fix it because they will need to be online when we remove the sponges so they can set their protections correctly. Thanks ! Being handled.
We can only deal with it on a case to case basis, as everyones sponges were deactivated by the update, the issue will persist until reset.
