Debug Keys?

    Hey, over the past few days i have noticed heaps of people being able to spot invis guys at spawn, when they have been called out for hacking they say they have used a debug key (f3+b) which shows a box around a person/item
    Is this allowed?

    I've tested that out on 1.7.9 with Blueblade on zombies, i saw particles but not the box

    I was told it only works on 1.7.2 and 1.7.4
