So, I've noticed on some servers I play, people cuss a lot, I won't say any names, but it's becoming a problem, and I think with a plugin that identifies cussing, and fixes the problem, there will be less chaos in the chat, Custom Plugin - I've seen in Hub, unsure about the others, but there is a plugin that stops the players from cussing, but as I said, I've only seen it in hub. I only play Zombies and Creative, and I've seen people cuss, so if this plugin could be carried onto each server, that would be great to keep this server for all ages. Bukkit Plugin - I was searching, I found this plugin that matches what I'm suggesting perfectly; http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/noswearing256/ If you read through it, you'll know, it's a good idea. Adding this plugin to the servers without the custom one, it would keep the chat safe for all ages, and fights won't be as much of a problem. I am aware cussing is aloud to a certain level. But without warning, players could get out of hand. Some words don't need that much of a warning, but words of c***, ni***, s***, and so forth, those words could end as a kick or temp ban, but it's still good to warn a player on each cuss, like the 3 main cuss words, the S, F, B words.
I think this is a good idea, I have seen other servers with that sort of thing, and I think it could help the server.
It's implemented on some servers that need it like factions. Any other cursing excessively can be reported with /helpop. I know staff isn't always on and this would help in those situations, but the target audience is teens and some minimal cursing is allowed. We try to be a laid back server and not too strict. I don't see this being put on other servers, but thank you for the suggestion.
