    Alright, so my beacons on SkyBlock keep turning on and off (well, I should say, the buffs), instead of going back up to 8 seconds at 5 seconds, it counts down to 8, turns off, then back on, and repeats it... It is a 1.8 bug I'm sure, but oh well. It is extremely annoying! xD

    This usually happened to me w/ lag are you sure your not lagging?

    This is a minecraft bug. If you look at the 1.8.1 pre release they have fixed it. So just wait until it comes out
