Why do you think you deserve another chance on the server? I am a commited player and I don't appreciate being treated like this. I literally just made a new town with 2 outposts. recruited 20 people today. Due to a misunderstanding, some moderators seem to believe i was advertising another server. That wasn't my intent. I need a new Mod to help me other than Geeves. I am unhappy with her performance. Thank you. PS I dont mean to offend anyone, I just want to resolve this quickly so I can get back to playing AEM
i was banned for the first time ever from any server in my life 15 minutes ago, along with one of my friends. I'd like to get back to playing please.
I'm a little confused, because you posted a ban appeal yesterday as well? Doesn't this mean you were banned twice?
There were 3 of us friends online. I was speaking with one of them about servers in general. she said she was thinking of leaving AEM. i convinced her to stay. we talked for a while. then she said she was gonna check out another server BUT COME BACK AFTER and sent me the IP so i could find her if i wanted to. BANNED. she was banned. a minute later I sent my 3rd friend Sora the same IP and then logged out. I went to go *back* to AEM to continue what I was doing and found "error." couldn't log in. I was BANNED too. and for what? our third friend is not banned. Just us first two fools. By the way this whole conversation that we had, all 3 of us, was in *whisper*. I feel so frustrated that the previous Mod was rude to me and is convinced I was "Advertising" when this is simply not the case. Thank you so much in advance for all your help. Sincerely, dallum.
Okay, I will clarify a couple points. So your third friend was not banned because you two were the ones sending ips. That's how the advertising rule applies. Whispering a server ip is still considered advertising, please do not do that again! If you wish to send server ips, do it in non-minecraft ways, like skype/email/ facebook, etc. Please list the name of your friend was also banned if they did not file an appeal yet. Geeves was doing her job, she saw you exchanging a non-aem ip, so this will fall under advertising and therefore ban. Please consider writing an apology for advertising to Geeves as well. You can do that with /mail send Geeves_Pie (message) or contact her in /msg when she is online. We don't tolerate any advertising on AEM. When a user advertises, it pulls players away from AEM, which is bad for the server. It honestly seems like most players don't understand the severity of advertising other servers, and don't respect the rule. Do you understand how bad of an offense this is? I also need to state that normally advertisers do not become unbanned, for this case I will be removing the permanent ban BUT I will place a temp ban of 6hrs from the survival server specifically, you may go to other aem servers besides survival until that time is up. Your friend will get the same punishment as well.
