I was banned for: Ban Evading @ThriveLP and Same IP as @TheSurge(###). I then tried to log onto skygrid, and was banned globally. My friend, ThriveLP was also told he had the same IP as TheSurge(###) All bans and warnings were us issued by nick_godoy Why do you think you deserve another chance on the server? 1: My friend thrive, was banned from KitPvP for 'hacking' i was in a skype call with him while it happend and can vouch that he was NOT hacking, and has broken no rules. I then tried to talk to nick about it (respectfully), I did not know talking to Staff about banned players was against the rules, i have never seen this rule stated. 2: I have been banned from KitPvP for having his IP once before. (I was unbanned) EVEN IF i have the same IP has Surge is that against the rules? Have i broken any rules as Bookhugger? 3: I really enjoy this server and spend alot of time on skygrid and would really, really be gratefull to be unabnned. Thank You for you Consideration Bookhugger
Usually having the same IP as another player means 1 of a few things: 1) You're on the same network as said player 2) Either you or said player are using proxies 3) You are said player It's usually 1 or 3 for the majority of times. I do not know much about the ban itself but @nick_godoy should know more and we'll talk with him about it.
You, and ThriveLP have the same IP in connection with the same IP as TheSurge3411 Which means that he could log on to any of your account, and do no good which is "ban evading". I will talk to higher up staff, and see what we will do. I would also like to point out that you admitted to having the same IP as Surge.
Nick, I really don't understand what the problem is with me having the same IP with Surge is? (I do not even know if i have the same IP, i have no idea how to check that crap. And i am assuming that you are right with your admin powers, but if i happen to have that same IP, wouldn't he need my Account Password to log on? I really don't know how any of this works) I am a long time skygrid player and have no intent to harm or otherwise hinder the server, i just want to enjoy the game and would really love this all to get sorted out soon.
