From the Skyblock rules thread: Rule #14: AFK machines are not allowed. Rule #15: Gathering resources while afk is now allowed. I had a conversation with an admin who told me we ARE allowed to AFK gather resources like mining a stone generator. According to this and Rule #15 i was fishing which is resource gathering in my opinion. Also i dont understand what he means with "Also using for mob buildup=nono"... /edit: Sorry if you dont understand me or weird language but english is not my native language.
Yes, cobblestone and stone gens you can AFK gather. The owner of the server however doesn't want people to AFK fish. As for the mob build up. Your mob farm might have had over the legal limit we set into place.
I doubt my mob farm exeeds the mob limit at any given time... but i will look into that! But how could i know, especially after the conversation i had with an admin (i'm not sure if it even was Wombat - the one who banned me Oo), which kind of AFK-ish farming/gather and which not?!? I will follow any rules concerning fishing and stuff as long as i know what i am allowed to do and what is forbidden. Regardless what happens to my case (i still hope^^) u should clarify this rule so everyone know what to do. Thanks
@Wombat Let's see what he has to say on this one. I was told (could of changed after a while) and other staff wasn't notified on the change.
Oh this is only a temporary ban, @Bommlmitz You will be unbanned in 7 days I believe :3 Your villager farm was just overstocked, and your mob farm was right next to your fishing machine and it seemed as if you were afk fishing in it. Which is why I banned you ^^ You aren't permanently banned, so dont worry about that And By Mob buildup = nono Means you just had a lot of mobs in your spawner and the villagers I mentioned before ^^ All I know is, afk fishing is still not allowed, however afk mining is, and I will gladly lift your temp ban if you acknowledge these rules
Of course I'm willing to stop AFK fishing as i now know its not allowed! I always try to be a nice guy, and as far as i can say i dont fail that often (this includes playing according the rules) So if you lift my ban I'd really appreciate that but if you don't I'm also willing to wait the remaining 12 million hours Also thanks for the fast replys from both of you guys! ps. i'll check the mob/villager spawning issue and gonna improve/rebuild both my mob and iron farm asap
