Well just farming jungle trees that I found, I got 192 vines in about 5 minutes or so, I kind of forgot to start a timer or anything like that. Take an efficient farm which I would easily make, I'd say about 128 vines a minute or so, which at .20, roughtly 1.5k an hour. Edit: Just realized after I posted this that you could get eff 5 shears and use /speed to get even more vines at a time. So it would actually be around 200 vines a minute or so.
An efficient farming setup would have more vines, though. I remember trying vinefarming a while ago, not sure how quick eff 5 is on them, though. Because when I tried there were no enchantments or fly.
Yes It would be great to have a new way to make money and you can also not make a semi auto farm so I would love this and it needs to happen
Y'know Andrew doesn't have /op right? This is only to be able to ban himself in case of a hacking... But he still has every single command.
I should be able to maybe in a few days, but so far no. Fleetfooter do you have a set number of ecodollars per hour? if not, then I am gonna try it.
I don't, but I have an idea for a very efficient farm that I guess I could make if you want me to test it.
Kuke, if you do some math, assume that you break 4 vines per second (fists only), under perfect conditions, per hour you would get roughly 2.9k. Im not sure about what the vine/sec is though. I agree to a change, but mayne not 1.10, but much rather they should be about .50 maybe a little more
You can bump your own threads, it's only necro if someone else bumps it But anyways, I was thinking about this suggestion just a day or so ago. I think vines need to be raised. They work like pumpkins growing by themselves, but are harder to farm and make alot less. This needs to change. I say make vines 0.60 each, because you have to farm 1 at a time because if you farm the top you only get 1 vine being a glitch, so vines are extremely hard to farm especially without eff5 shears or fly.
In all due respect, vines are priced as low as sugarcane now, yet they are harder to farm and harder to break, part opinion, part throwing this back to the top
I tried vine farming, and it's so clumsy that no one will be able to make a living out of it. you can only farm them with shears, but efficiency on shears has no effect on them. And when you hit a vine your breaking speed lowers even more, this is by far the most frustrating farming technique I've seen and I doubt that even if the prices were to increase by a lot people will actively farm this crop. Therefore I think it's useless to touch the vine price.
