Minecraft Name: Expipiplusone Suggestion: Add a new Macromod and related sub-forum under Basic Tutorials Reason: Personally (as many others) I use macromod a lot. Macromod is not only to bind keys to commands: you can write whole scripts to do a lot of neat things for you. For instance you can have a script fill a lwc request for you, or switch automatically the tool you have in hand according to the material you are facing, etc. At the same time, it's not easy to write such a script, and it often happens you wanna find help from someone else. That's what threads are for, but it would be very handy if there was an area of the forum dedicated explicitly to macromod. The forum would be more neat as well: a forum is essentially a tree where branches (forums) split in sub-branches (sub-forums), and then you have leaves (threads). It's not very elegant to have 10 forums each one containing 2000 threads: it would be better if we had 10 forums, each one splitting in some sub-forums, and then each sub-forum containing many (but not a hell of a lot) threads. "But this would open the way to a flood of new sub-forums! / Why macrood and not something else?" No, it wouldn't: I acknowledge that it would be inelegant also if we had so many sub-forums that each one contained only a handful of threads; however this is not what I'm suggesting: what I'm suggesting is that only the sub-topics that are big enough to deserve their own sub-thread would have one. Macromod is one of them: 25% of the threads in Basic Tutorials (first page) pertains to Macromod. It's a lot, and this proves that it deserves its own section. We already have sub-forums, and this makes the forum more easily navigated, not less: for instance Server Events under Competitions; Introduce Yourself under General Discussion; Your ECC Goals under Economy & Market; All kind of different sports under Sportsbook; Eviction Notices under Towns & Nations; the list goes on. Any Other Information: not really Link To This Plugin/Is this a custom addition?: n/a

+1 I am all for sub-forums to make it easier for people to find what they are looking for. I still think that there should be a Wiki Selected Tutorial Subforum Suggestion Located: here Shame nobody really cares though
+1 As an extremely large portion of the tutorials are related to macro mod, I'm all for this. This will sort things out and will make it easier for players who are looking for specifically macro mod tutorials or specifically tutorials related to ECC or MC.
Also, if this suggestion is accepted, it would be a good idea to move there all the threads about macromod that are already present (though, I admit, this would be a bit of a pain to do)
I understand that with "active thread" you mean a thread where people have posted recently. So it is true that there's very few, but there are many threads that, despite being "inactive", still provide useful information and might be passively read by a multitude of people: those ones should be moved in the new sub-forum as well, in order to have everything neatly arranged (that's why I said it would have been quite painful to do).
Having the threads arranged in categories is most useful for search purpose: being able to limit a search to a sub-forum would mean more accurate results. You will focus your search on relevant keywords, instead of a generic "macro"
